"why.. why do i feel kind of scared?" hyuk asks with a small chuckle as you two walk down the long road.
"don't worry, i know this girl. she's one of my sister's friend's" you assure as you slowly open the small gate causing it to Creek
you were then startled as you were being pointed by a gun. hyuk gasps quickly holding his hands up in surrender, while your eyes go wide.
daeun looks at you and puts her gun down. she looks exactly the same from the last time you remember seeing her. daeun has always been a prepared women.
"y/n? it's been so long since ive seen you, since when did you come back?" daeun asks taking a step closer to you, you smile and give her a small hug
"i came not to long ago" you reply, daeun looks behind you and takes a glance at hyuk who still seemed a bit scared, "and who is this? is this your boyfriend? yumi told me you now have a lover" daeun asks
"oh no, no, he's a friend. my boyfriend is in japan" you quickly inform
daeun nods

"you want to fight for joseon?" daeun asks as the two explained to her, you nod. "and why are you coming to me?" daeun questions again
"well.. you're good with guns, and you have weapons.. i was thinking you could help us" you explain slowly hoping she would agree on helping you,
"does yumi know you're doing this?" daeun asks, you look at daeun for a couple seconds before chuckling nervously. "of course.. she doesn't" you say lowly, it almost came out as a mumble as your eyes trail down onto the floor
"please don't tell yumi, she'll really kill me if she finds out" you quickly say looking at daeun
daeun nods with a small chuckle. "you guys want to learn how to use the weapons?" daeun asks changing the subject
daeun earns a nod in response from both of you. daeun stands up causing you to stand up following behind daeun along with hyuk, who hasn't spoke since you got here.
daeun walks to a door and takes a pair of keys out of her pocket and unlocks the locked door. daeun enters the room with you following behind you while hyuk takes a look around the room and hesitantly.
you look around the room amazed looking at all of the guns, there was so many. "so, how long do you think it'll take for me to teach you how to use a gun?" daeun asks you taking a gun off the wall
it was a shotgun, you think for awhile. "maybe around.. 2 weeks? im a fast learner" you answer
"you are a fast learner. i remember when yumi would teach you something you would learn very quick" daeun says with a smile
you smile and nod, "what about you?" daeun asks hyuk, "do you know how to use a gun?" she asks
hyuk chuckles, "of course i know how to--" hyuk replies only to be interrupted by the gun daeun tossed him, startling him he quickly catches it.

"this isthe safety. once you pull the safety and pull the trigger the bullets will shoot out" daeun says pointing to the different areas of the gun
"this is the barrel, and muzzle" daeun continues
you nod taking in the information she was giving you, making sure to take mental notes. "now watch" daeun says as she pulled the safety and holds the gun up getting into position
she had her glasses on letting her get a better view of where she's shooting. daeun shuts one eye and aims. before you know it she pulls the trigger causing the bullet go go flying directly into the glass bottle shattering it.
the two watched with amazement, daeun looks back at the two and smiles seeing their reactions. "now, this gun is a bolt action. bolt action is usually for rifles, this is the firearm i feel most comfortable using. there's still other types like" daeun continues as she points to the guns that were set on the table
"there's a pump action, lever action, break actions, and semi automatic action" daeun explains pointing to the different guns,
hyuk looks at daeun with amazement, "woah, you're very educated in this.." hyuk says getting daeuns attention
"of course, i wanted to also fight for the country" daeun simply replies
"we'll have to see what type of guns you guys are most comfortable with" daeun says setting the gun that she had on the table
"you guys choose your guns, choose one that you think you'll be good at" daeun said as she let you two choose a gun
you take the gun that daeun had while hyuk took a gun similar to the one you had. "good choices" daeun exclaims with a smile as she pats yours and hyuks back
"try shooting it, remember how i taught you" daeun says as she did the same position she shot with and shuts one of her eyes
you nod as you pull the safety and hold it up to your shoulder. shutting one of your eyes to get an aim, you hand stays prepared in the trigger. once you push the trigger the bullet goes flying into on of the glass bottles breaking only half.
"not bad. hyuk, why don't you give it a try, let's see how much you know" daeun suggests
hyuk nods as he gets prepared. you and daeun watch hyuk as he took his aim. the bullet goes flying, the bullet didn't break any of the glass only it went past it. daeun snorts at his shot.
"i haven't shot a gun in like months" hyuk quickly excuses feeling embarrassed
you laugh covering your mouth causing hyuk to scratch the back of his neck feeling flustered.
the three continued practicing on how to shoot a gun. they learned and did new things daeun was teaching them. daeun was indeed the right person to ask for help.
