you stop infront of the large building taking a good look at it.
𝓖𝓵𝓸𝓻𝔂 𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓵
you read the big bold words of the hotel. your sister sent you here? you were very unfamiliar with the new places here. its different from what you remember. yumi said this hotel is where many people, mainly foreigners stay.
you walk in the entrance only to be welcomed by music, laughter, and unfamiliar people. you look around the building, the place looked very clean and neat. also very fancy. yumi said it's one of best hotels. you only hope it's as good as she described.
"you must be y/n, chae yumis younger sister?" you heard an unfamiliar voice speak getting your attention. "uh.. yes" you state feeling a bit hesitant with your words
"welcome to glory hotel"
you walk to the lady who was in the desk, she looked around your sisters age. "do you own this hotel?" you ask her, "it's nice" you finished
the lady nods, "thank you for the compliment. ive heard a lot about you, you sing don't you?" the lady asks you, you nod in response feeling a hint of embarrassment
"you must have a lovely voice, the people from joseon somehow are always talking about you. i would like for you to sing in my hotel" the lady starts the conversation, she reminded you a lot about your sister. she wasn't nervous and speakers for what's in her mind.
you nod again not knowing how to respond. "your a lot more different from your sister, you don't talk much" the lady says
"im kudo hina, a friend of your sister. she informed me that you were coming earlier than she was.. i already have a room reserved for you" hina explains to you taking some keys out handing them to you
"thank you" you say taking the keys, "young lady, be comfortable around me. you don't have to be so formal" hina tells you with a smile
you nod once again and look out to a room that appeared to be like a bar, "what is it that you have here?" you ask hina
"food, alcohol, cigars, game of cards,bed, men, and love. you can find anything here" hina says as she looks where you were looking at
"..i-i already have a lover" you mutter feeling a bit flustered, hina looks at you and smiles
"i would expect it, your really pretty. anyways, would you like a drink?" hina asks
"no thanks"
"okay, enjoy your stay" hina says as she bows slightly and walks away leaving you alone.
you look at the stairs before you begin walking up the stairs with your bags. it was difficult for you, you were struggling. a sigh escapes from your lips as you set down your bags and look at the stairs.
"you seem to be struggling, do you need any help?" you heard someone offer from behind you. you take a glance to see a male, he was leaning on the wall with his hands crossed.
he wasn't wearing a suit, instead he was wearing a kimono, and had two swords resting on each side of his hips. he had the appearance of a samurai.
before you could even respond he walks up the stairs and takes your bags without struggling he walks up the stairs leaving you behind. you quickly catch up and walk ahead of him, you look at your keys to see what room number you had. walking to your room you unlock the door so the male could set your bags down. which he did.
"thank you sir" you thank him, he nods and looks at you
"..you look oddly familiar" the male mumbles, at a blink of your eyes the male was already gone.
you couldn't even ask for his name.
you shut the door and look at your bags getting ready to unpack. you also looked around the room, the room you'll be staying at for a long time.
should i unpack now? it will take a long time..

you walk down the stairs and see hina in the desk again watching people walk in and out of her hotel. hina looks at you and smiles, "right, good thing you came back. i forgot to tell you, yumi informed me saying you will be meeting the man who took responsibility of her bar while she was gone. she said you'll meet him" hina informs you taking a letter that yumi wrote handing it to you, who just received her news
you nod taking the letter. the bell rustles meaning someone has entered. you look behind you to see the same male who helped you with your bags. he had his arms crossed with other samurais behind him.
"that's gu dongmae, he protects this hotel even when i didn't ask him" hina informs you
