"today is a very important day for me" yumi says through the mic getting the attention of the people who attended the event
"today is the day when i first began to run this specific bar. today was the day of my dream" yumi continued with her small opening speech, yumi has always been good with using her words.
"and i want to thank all of you all who can celebrate this day with me. its really in honor.. and most importantly, i want to thank my younger sister who helped me a lot with managing the bar" yumi said as she layed her eyes on you and holds her hand to you
you smile brightly at your sister. the audience looked at you and couldn't help but admire your pretty smile. yumi smiles proudly, "now, shall we let the real celebration begin? i want you guys to enjoy this night" yumi finished as she looked at the crew and snaps her fingers alerting them to begin the music.
it was some jazz music. people were either eating or drinking, and others begin to dance to the music. you smile as you watch the people with amusement.
you rest your elbow on the table allowing you to rest your face in your hand, you watched the people with a smile. hyuk looks away from the typewriter and looks at you. he liked seeing you happy, seeing your smile made him happy.
and today, you were dressed very pretty to his eyes. "did i tell you, you look pretty" hyuk compliments getting your attention, you look at hyuk who was smiling. you smile at him and open your mouth to respond only to get interrupted by hyuk, "i mean it in a friend way" he quickly assures you
you laugh and nod, "i know, you don't always have to say it like that.." you start, "and i do look good in this don't i? it really hurt getting dressed like this" you inform as you look at the westernized dress
hyuk chuckles a bit and continued to write his article. you watch him with a small pout. you sigh and around your eyes then land on someone. someone who you've seen around yet haven't spoken to.
the male looked around trying to find a spot on where to sit, he couldn't seem to find any. you raise your hand getting his attention, he was confused at first until you pointed to the empty spot next to you. the male walks to your table and sat next to you.
you look at him and recognized him, "i haven't gotten the chance to thank you properly.." you start getting the males attention, "thank you for helping me that day, you really saved me that day" you thank as you pay his back slightly
the male looked at you and was slightly surprised,
how can a girl be so out-going?
the male thought to himself, he only nodded lightly "..its no problem" he shortly replies
you nod, "my name's y/n chae" you introduce with a smile, and then you wrap your arm around hyuks shoulder getting his attention, "and this is lee hyuk"
