Y/n's POV

"Now what?" Skylor asks.

"Um, maybe we should go rescue Ultraviolet from the crack in the earth Cole made," Nya suggests.

"No need," a voice says. We all turn to see Violet walking towards us. "I stayed behind; I knew you guys would stop them."

"I'm so glad you're alright," Skylor says. "Thank you so much for your help."

"Oh, it was nothing," Violet says modestly. "But now that we've stopped the war, I'd like to go back to my family on the mainland."

"Of course!" Skylor replies. "We'll be taking a boat back to the mainland, and hopefully we'll never return to this horrible place."

"Shouldn't we deal with Chen's followers and the Sons of Garmadon first?"

"Nah, we'll just destroy the rest of the ways off the island. That way, if they ever escape from where Cole trapped them, they won't be bothering anyone else ever again."

"Sounds like a plan," I say approvingly. Then, Jay clears his throat.

"If you don't mind, there's something I have to do," Jay says, and gets down on one knee in front of Nya. "Nya, you make me so happy every day I'm with you. Will you marry me?"

"Yes!" She cries without a moment's hesitation, and jumps into Jay's arms.

"Took ya long enough," I say, nudging Jay.

"Congrats brother," Zane says. "But y/n's right; it did take you way too long."

"Shut up, tin can," Cole says. "Let 'em have their moment."

I giggle; some things never change.

—————One year later————

"Relax, Nya," I say. "You're supposed to be happy on your wedding day!"

"I am, I'm just nervous!" She replies. "What if I trip on the way down the aisle?"

"You won't," I assure her. "You look beautiful. Just take some deep breaths."

She takes a deep breath in.

"Now let it out," I say with a laugh.

Nya exhales, and lets her arms relax. Her bouquet isn't heavy, but she's been tensing her muscles for the past fifteen minutes.

"I think we'd better get a move on," Kai says as he enters the front of the tea shop. "Jay's about to pass out."

"That sounds like him," I say, then give Nya's veil one last check. Kai links his arm through his sister's, and the three of us wait for the music to start.

"Ready, sis?" Kai asks.

"I'm always ready for a new adventure," she replies with a smile.

The bridal march song begins to play, so I open the door for the two of them to walk down the aisle that we set up in Steep Wisdom's beautiful courtyard. Once they're out the door, I rush behind Nya to carry her train.

"Don't forget to smile!" I mutter.

All the guests—which are all family and friends—rise as the bride makes her entrance. Lloyd winks at me from the where all the groomsmen stand, likely reminding me that it's our turn next.

Nya takes her place at the front, and I back up to stand between her and Skylor since I'm the maid of honour.

"Sorry I'm late!" Sensei shouts as he bursts through the tea shop's door. "Lost track of time!"

"You were in the tea shop the whole time, how did you forget?" I question.

"Don't sass your elders!" He replies, and hands me a bouquet. "You forgot something."

"Oops," I mutter. "Thanks.

"Now that I'm here, we can begin the ceremony!" Sensei announces, and motions for everyone to be seated. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Nya, the lovely lady, and Jay, the annoying motormouth—"

"Hey!"

"Kidding, kidding! Ahem. As I was saying..."

As Sensei continues his speech, I glance behind me at Skylor and Pixal, the other bridesmaids. They both look just as happy as I am.

Sitting in the front row is Kai, since he gave Nya away, but Cole, Zane, and Lloyd are all up there beside Jay as his groomsmen.

"...I now pronounce you husband and wife!" Sensei finishes after Jay and Nya both say 'I do.'

Everyone claps as Jay and Nya kiss. I'm so happy that I accidentally shoot fireworks of y/e into the air.

"Woo! Let's get this party started!" Sensei exclaims, turning around and pressing a button on a music player. One of Jay's and Nya's favourite pop songs comes on, and everyone starts to dance.

I push my way through the crowd to find Lloyd, who's waiting for me. He takes my hand drags me away from everyone, and twirls me around once we have our own space.

After a few more songs, everyone finds a partner for a slow dance. Lloyd puts his hands on my waist, and I put mine around his neck. We sway to the music, holding onto each other tenderly. It was only a matter of time before Lloyd leans in even closer to kiss me.

"I love you," he mutters against my lips.

I smile. "You don't need to say it; I already know."

"And you also know that I'm never going to stop reminding you."

"Yeah," I laugh. "And I'm never going to stop saying it back."

"Y/n! Nya's going to throw her bouquet!" Skylor calls. I give Lloyd an apologetic smile, but then I run join the other unmarried ladies.

"Ready?" Nya calls, turning around. Everyone—even the guys—cheer in reply. Nya preps the bouquet, then throws it over her shoulder. I'm too lazy to even reach for it, but I watch as it falls into Pixal's hands. Funny enough, she was talking to Zane at the time, and wasn't even paying attention.

"Hey, Nya?" I question as she joins me watching everyone congratulate Pixal.

"Yeah?"

"I think it's time we come up with a plan for those two."
