Brent Austin Rivera is one of the Chinese Zodiac Heroes and one of the 1st Year University students. He is the tritagonist of the series.

Official Description

Volume 1

Brent Austin Rivera is a university student entering his 1st year. He first appeared in Season 7 in Singapore. He is given the amulet of the Tiger which gives him the ability to have speed and destruction like a tiger. Like the Western Zodiac team, his pupils and irises disappear and his eyes turn white.

Volume 2

Brent Austin Rivera is an American 21-year-old student with Tiger-themed powers. When he and his peers were about to enter their house in New Zealand, they were falling all of a sudden. They soon met an AI who leads them to an office where they meet Sir Simon again. When he activates his powers this time, he has a white and black suit with white-screened goggles and he can use his powers.

Appearance

He is shown to have black hair styled in a quiff, brown eyes and tan skin with dimples. He wears a white sweater over a white shirt, black jeans and black and white sneakers and a white bracelet on his left hand. In Season 14, he wears his sweater around his waist. His sleepwear consists of a white sweatshirt and black sweatpants. He stands on 5 ft. 11 and is of average weight. Brent turns light grey/white in his spirit form.

Personality

Like his peers, he can show concern and shows immaturity despite being a kid. At other times, he can be serious like in a battle with Chase. He can also be quite annoyed mostly when his sister is dating.

As of Season 8, he is shown to speak Spanish whenever he gets stressed out. He also finds wearing a kilt ridiculous.

Etymology

Despite the series mainly taking place in Australia and New Zealand and that Brent is of Hispanic descent, Brent is a British name and a fairly European name.

His middle name, Austin is also a fairly British name and his last name, Rivera is a fairly Hispanic name.

Overall despite being of Hispanic descent, his entire name doesn't make sense also because her first and middle name are both British names.

Brent is a 14yr old English language place name and surname. The place-name can be from Celtic words meaning "holy one", or "high place", literally, "from a steep hill"
