Aiden Cowell is one of the Zodiac Heroes and one of the secondary school students. He is the deuteragonist of the series.

Official Description

Aiden Cowell is a British 12-year-old student with flaming sword-themed powers. He first appeared in Season 13. When he activates his powers this time, he has a red and black suit with red-screened goggles and he can use his powers.

Appearance

He is shown to have curly dark brown hair, brown eyes and fair skin with freckles. He wears a black shirt, grey cargo shorts and white shoes. Like the other Dark Syndrome victims, his flaming sword is shown to be translucent and red. His sleepwear consists of a black shirt and grey sweatpants. He stands on 4 ft. 9 and is slightly obese. Aiden turns red in his spirit form.

Personality

He shows immaturity and playfulness like his peers. But gets serious while fighting Chase or helping his friends study or research. Aiden is funny too but starts to mature. This is because he is growing up.

Etymology

Despite the series mainly taking place in Australia and New Zealand and that Aiden is British, Aiden is a Gaelic name. His last name, Cowell is a British name.

Overall despite being British, his entire name does make sense because Gaelic is a language from the British Isles.

Aiden is the name of the Celtic sun god, meaning "fiery." It was traditionally a boys' name but is now given to girls, too, especially spelt as Aidan. Well-known Aidens: actor Aidan Quinn; one of Carrie Bradshaw's boyfriends (Aidan) on Sex and the City.
