Saya cried out in agony falling backwards against the wall. Roki padded over to her and nuzzled her hand, pouring his ki into her.
Within a few hours Saya was lying in bed with Roki at her feet. Dende, having had assisted with the birth, passed her newborn cub to her "A healthy baby boy" he said. Saya took her cub into her arms and cuddled him close purring gently to soothe his crying. "Thank you Dende" She whispered. "The pleasures mine Saya, your father would be proud" With this Dende left the room, giving the small family time to rest.
Roki crawled up the bed and sniffed the cub purring. He nuzzled him and gave him a small amount of ki. "That's right my pet, it's our cub" Saya said quietly. Roki looked up at her pleased and licked her nose. "Come my little Veku" she purred as she drew the cub closer and pulled Roki next to her, curled around her cub.
The three slept thusly, with the young cubs tail curled around his mother and fathers wrists.
