Wheeljack stalked through the forest, the fresh white snow crunching under his paws.

"Don't go to far." A gruff voice called out from behind Wheeljack, making him turn. He grinned widely when he spotted a giant blue cat, crouching low to the ground.

"Alright." He called back, sinking into the snow. He slipped behind a tree, out of sight from the other male. The cold on his paws made him shiver but he ignored it, waiting. Soon enough, he heard the crunch of snow as someone walked. He crouched down, waiting, watching. The sound was getting louder, they were getting nearer. "Wheeljack?"

When a flash of blue caught Wheeljacks eyes he lunged, paws outstretched but claws sheathed. He barreled into a larger cat, laughing at the males yelp of surprise. "Hey Mags." He grinned down at Ultra Magnus, tail swishing behind him. He stood proudly on the other cats chest, face to face with the male. "How ya' doin'?" He asked in a flirty tone.

The larger cat huffed, pushing on Wheeljacks chest. "Get off." He grumbled, glaring when the other cat didn't comply. "Get off." He repeated gruffly, though he had to admit, Wheeljacks warmth was comforting. But his back pressed to the snow definitely wasn't. "My back is freezing."

"Fine." Wheeljack scoffed, batting at Ultra Magnus snout. He hopped over the males head, landing stiffly on the cold ground. He turned his head, watching as the larger cat rolled over. Ultra Magnus pushed himself up, trying to shake off the snow.

The wet substance stuck to the commanders fur, unwilling to let go. He grumbled something under his breath, huffing at Wheeljack.

The former wrecker snickered at the look at Ultra Magnus' expression. "If you don't like the snow on your back, go jump in the river." The larger male looked horrified at the thought, shaking his head.

"You're trouble." He huffed, stepping forwards so he was standing besides Wheeljack. He flinched when the smaller cat brushed up against him, but he soon welcomed the warmth.

"I know." Wheeljack snickered, pulling away and starting to bound of into the forest. He paused, looking back. "Come on! Before you get a cold!" He called, before starting to run off again, with Ultra Magnus reluctantly following.

Ultra Magnus rolled over lazily, relaxing into the bed of moss

"Would you stay still? You move to much." A voice huffed, and the larger cat heard shuffling, before something warm was pressing up against his back.

"Says you." The commander looked over his shoulder to face Wheeljack.

"Pfft." The male curled his tail, pushing himself up. He jumped over the larger cat, settling down in front of him. He curled up, "says me."

Ultra Magnus turned his head again, giving one of his rare smiles at the smaller male. He stretched out a paw to prod at Wheeljacks chest. His paw sunk into the long fur, and for a moment the larger male was slightly entranced. That was, until Wheeljack was batting at his snout.

The larger male pulled his head back, staring at the wall.

"You're a jerk."

"You're trouble."

"Why do ya' call me that all the time?" Wheeljack asked, rolling over. He shuffled in between Ultra Magnus' two front legs, back pressing up against the males chest. He looked up, being faced with big blue eyes that were now staring at him.

"I don't know." Ultra Magnus paused, curling up around Wheeljack. "Because you are." He replied.

Wheeljack stared at Ultra Magnus. "So the same reason I call you a jerk?" He grinned, waiting until the male got the joke.

Ultra Magnus was about to say something, though he stopped himself. He huffed, giving Wheeljack a small playful glare. He wasn't one to smile and rough house, or even be affectionate. Though, Wheeljack—even though the male annoyed the hell out of him—somehow managed to make him feel a little happy.

Wheeljack's grin only grew more when Ultra Magnus glared at him, eyes bright with mischief. "Love ya'." He snickered, nuzzling the males chin.

The reply came a moment later, a sigh accompanying it.

"I love you, too."

"Jerk."

"Trouble."
