TNS S7- Episode 1: The Goodbye Girl

Well, here is a little summary of what happened in the 1rst episode of The Next Step Season 7. I said in my earlier part that I wouldn't post summaries as often as I did with Season 6, but I couldn't resist with the 1rst episode! It was so good! So I think I'm going to write very short summaries, just to reveal the spoilers! So I warned you, there are a lot of spoilers!!!

This first episode was a tribute to Michelle's journey at The Next Step. I kind of reminded me of the 1rst episode of Season 4 of Riverdale, where they all paid tribute to Luke Perry, it was really emotional.

Synopsis: A-Troupe questions the road to Nationals as they have an emotional send-off for the heart of the team, Michelle. Emily stews alone in her office until her feelings erupt in an unexpected way. The new studio owner is introduced and Richelle's excitement at being named the face of Absolute Dance is cut short when someone vandalizes her poster and she becomes determined to find the culprit.

In the episode, Michelle says goodbye to the studio and Emily is really angry with her. Because of her, Emily couldn't afford to buy the studio on her own so Nick is the new studio owner. She was so torn up that at one moment, she destroyed all the costumes of Michelle, to prove her how upset she is with Michelle's decision.

All the costumes where there because A-Troupe decided to do a special Farewell Party to Michelle, Kingston ironed all the costumes and they all danced Michelle's iconic dances: 

- Richelle performs Michelle's first audition for A-Troupe saying her iconic line: "The auditions are in here right?"

- Summer, Henry, Kingston, Amy, Kenzie, and Ozzy perform "Addicted to You" while footage of Michelle, Daniel, West, Chloe, Riley, and James plays. 

- Amy starts "Showstoppa" and is joined by Kingston and Finn, then Summer and Piper, then Henry and Ozzy, and finally Kenzie and Richelle while footage of Michelle plays.

- Piper and Finn perform Michelle and Eldon's "Inside Out" duet while footage of Michelle and Eldon plays.

- A-Troupe performs the flash mob dance complete with the same baseball and Michelle references the old A-Troupe convincing her to return to dance.
