THE AUDITIONS FOR THE ALTERNATE SPOT FOR A-TROUPE START HERE!
Auditions for the alternate position are more competitive than ever as a new group of talented dancers vies for the spot. Nick and Emily use the auditions to help determine the new dance captain of A-Troupe. Ozzy becomes an overbearing brother when his younger sister Izzy joins the studio.

Welcome to the A-Side! Nick and Emily's bickering has opened up more opportunities than expected: A-Troupe will be getting TWO alternates for nationals! But who from this group of "mish-mash of B-Troupe and randos," as Emily calls them, will make the cut?
Time to freestyle. Marcus, Presley, Winnie, Maya, Ethan, Cleo, Izzy, Heath, Jude, Grace, and Pete dance it out for the alternate spots!
At the end of this freestyle, Nick and Emily choose the dancers who will be at 2nd round.

This round consists of dancing by groups of 3 persons a choreograph made by Richelle, Summer, and Kenzie. The dancers will be dancing in front of Nick and Emily and in the end, they are going to choose the 2 Alternates and the dance captain of A-Troupe! This audition is really important for Richelle, Kenzie, and Summer because they will know who will be the dance captain!

After a whole day of auditions, Emily and Nick have decided the 2 dancers who are going to be the alternates for Nationals: Cleo and Heath!!!
They also chose the name of the dance captain, and, it's Summer... what a surprise, they are doing it again, giving Summer all the best positions, that Richelle wants! Hopefully, they didn't choose who was the face of Absolute Dance!
