BRIAR NOLET - Vitality Dance Tour

Okay, I was wrong, Briar isn't really going on a Dance Tour, but is part of the faculty/ judges of a FREE Virtual Solo Competition from April 22 to 24, along with people like Charity & Andres (from World of Dance) and other amazing dancers. It was announced by the Tour organizer, Vitality Dance Tour yesterday.

The winner of the competition will win Cash Prizes, Scholarship Awards, and Ambassador Positions !! This is an event you do not want to miss...

Vitality Dance Tour is bringing a FREE virtual dance experience to our fingertips! They are holding a competition, Vitality Virtual Experience, on April 22 - 24. They will be awarding cash prizes, scholarship awards, and ambassador positions! Our judges include some of the finest artists in today's dance industry. Solo submissions are due by Sunday, April 19th. They will be holding a live stream of their virtual competition on April 22 - 23. If our submission makes it past the competition round, we will be personally invited to their virtual industry audition on April 24th. Briar Nolet is a Canadian actress, dancer, singer, and creative producer best known for her leading role as Richelle on the hit TV series "The Next Step" and for competing as a soloist on season 3 of NBC's hit reality series "World of Dance." 

After finishing in the top 5, with performances going viral, Briar's success caught the eye of WOD judge Jennifer Lopez who invited the soloist to be the opening act for JLO's "It's My Party" tour. With the exposure WOD and the platform of NBC, Briar has been candid about her battle with epilepsy, drawing awareness to the disease that she says she's conquered through treatment and a positive mindset. 

Briar's work as a contemporary dancer has earned her features as a cover model on Dance Spirit Magazine and is known for her viral dance concept music videos. Just last year, Briar independently released her debut single "Boys" charted in the Top 40 in several countries and broke the Top 200 single across all markets, genres and services. Briar is intrigued by music production and found a love for it while dreaming compilations she would love to dance to herself. 

Last September Briar left for a two-month dance tour of Australia and the UK with her co-stars from "The Next Step." Following the tour, Briar will reside in LA to focus on diversifying her acting with roles across genres. Briar's time on tour with JLO has reignited her passion for singing and is determined to refine her craft and get back in the studio.

She's going to move to LA (after of course the Coronavirus confinement) and pursue her career in the city of La La Land!
