"Oh Moons! That's not good!" Starflight yelped. "Is your sister alright? PLEASE tell me they haven't taken Firefly!"
"She's fine, but Tsunami's niece, Coy, is among the missing." Shadowscale replied.
He let out a small breath of relief, but stiffened again when he heard about Coy. His mind reeled, panic rising as he twitched his talons. I really wish I could read a useful scroll right now-
"Do you have attendance records? Something that can help us find the students currently here? I want to check on all hybrids, speak to Coy's sister and perhaps see if any NightWing or RainWing student have seen anyone suspicious and unfamiliar walking through."
Starflight nodded and turned to a rack behind him. He ran a talon over the raised markings on each until he stopped and grabbed the scroll in that slot.
"Yes! Here it is." He brought the scroll to Shadowscale, in which the prince proceeded to open it. "This should be the list of students and assigned Winglets and Clawmates...."
Shadowscale nodded and thanked the blind NightWing who smiled in return. "If you have any questions, I'll be right here. 'Reading' if you can call running talons over raised letter 'reading.'"
His tone wasn't bitter, it was amused.
"Alright, thank you Uncle Starflight." Shadowscale said again and then glanced down at the scroll before him and began to read.
