Chapter 36 - Lily

i had written down a letter and just sent it with my owl to dad, he would be glad to hear from me, i was more worried about the ones on quest, we had not been able to establish contact with them since Annabeth and Percy lost it a few days ago.

Annabeth were going out of her mind of worry, Percy was trying to calm her and make her less woried, but so far it hadn't helped yet

Jess and I had to leave them just moments ago to get to training and both of us were worried sick as well as both of us had also come close with the demigods

"Please let them be okay" i murmered under my breath as we walked the path to the field

"Earth to Lily" Jess said beside me i had been so lost in thoughts to realise we had arrived and everyone was starring at me

"Sorry" i apologised "i just zoned out, everyone on their brooms!" People did as told i was afterall captain

"Do the 4th collision" i commanded and practice went on with me directing them trough a new strategy i had designed to distract myself from thinking about the others. we knew that Jason and company had gotten back to the camps safely that was always something, no need to worry about them at least

I decided on taking a walk after practice, i needed to think or more correctly be alone for a while.

when i returned to the tower i accidently heard Percy and Annabeth arguing "you don't care about me anymore, all you care about is your new bestfriend" Percy yelled

"of course i care about you seaweed brain" Annabeth answered staying calm

"when was the last time you and i spent quality time alone together?"

"uh..."

"see! you don't even remember" percy yelled, but Annabeth didn't get to give him an answer because right then i walked inside and both of them shut up

"go to bed" i told them before i walked upstairs not caring if they did as i had said, it really wasn't my business.
