First thing's first. Do you know your skin type? If not, you can find out now! You need to know your skin type, so you know what kind of products you should use.

dry skin: may have rough or flaky patches, dull appearance, and may be itchy.
oily skin: shiny appearance, pores enlarged, prone to blackheads and acne.
combination skin: enlarged pores, may be a dry combination, usually dry on cheeks but an oily T-Zone.
dehydrated skin: skin is visibly dry, should be treated as dry skin.
sensitive skin: reacts negatively to many products, by breaking out or becoming dry. may be itchy.
acne prone skin: prone to acne, combination to oily, products easily cause acne flare ups.

Foods that are good for your skin:
- low fat yogurt
- blueberries
- salmon
- almonds
- spinach
- kiwi
- turkey

Foods that are bad for your skin:
- white bread
- pasta
- cake
- salt
- candy
- alcohol
- caffeine
- milk

Here's a Beginner Skincare Routine:
-Morning: gentle cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen.
-Night: makeup remover or oil cleanser, gentle cleanser, exfoliate, moisturizer.

Also, do at least 2 facemasks a week, and steam your face at least once a week.

What to NOT do to your skin:
- pick or touch your face
- expose skin to sun without protection
- smoke
- forget to exfoliate
