Chapter 20

F/n's pov.

Jack left me speechless. Yes, y/n is my friend, best friend in fact, but she should behave properly for a killer. I care for her, a lot, but she has to know that she is wrong.

"That motherfucker.." Ben mumbled as he got closer to me. Everyone was silent. "Did he do anything to you baby?" Ben asked as he checked my face, searching for any marks or visible injuries.

"Ben, I'm fine, I assure you. I suppose he just has a soft spot for y/n. It's fine, it really is" I said as I placed my hands on his, lowering them to his sides.

"She's trouble. She's in our way, Jack's way" Jeff said clearly angry as I noticed in his tone. "She changed Jack, ruined him, softened him" Jeff continued. "We need to get rid of her" He stated and everyone nodded in agreement.

"Get rid of who?" A soft voice appeared at the door. I turned around to see Toby with a confused expression written all over his face.

"Y/n" Ben said turning to him. Toby was taken aback. "No..we can't do that" He said, his confused expression tuning into a worried, scared one.

"And why not?" Jeff said leaning in at him pretty pissed. "Tell me tic boy" He said as he angrily lowered his tone. "B-Because.." Toby stuttered over his voice. He was clearly terrified.

"Tell me!!ㅡ" Jeff yelled buy got cut off. "Because I love her!" Toby yelled back causing everyone present to look at him in shock, tears that were bottling up in his eyes were sliding down his cheeks that were reddish from the cold.

"I love her.." Toby said again, this time softer. Jeff rose his hand harshly ready to hit the boy, as the younger covered his face in fear even tho he couldn't feel pain. Jeff glanced a little at the younger before sughing and slowly placing his palm on Toby's shoulder, giving it small pats.

"Listen," Jeff started explaining. "Jack fell for her, but that's not the problem right now. The problem is that he changed. Andㅡ" I cut him off. "They're gonna try and escape. Trust me on this, I've known y/n for years" I said as I got closer to them.

Toby just looked down. He rose his head and opened his mouth to say something, but the words just wouldn't come out. He thought about it for a while and then he rose his head again. "Fine, we'll do it" He finally said.

Everyone cheered, but it soon stopped, as everyone's eyes landed on Toby who was standing still. He rose his head some more to look at us.

"But I'm getting Jack."

Y/n's pov.

I could hear yelling from the living room, but I didn't want to hear what they were saying. I was with Jack planning our escape plan.

"Tomorrow Slender will go out to check the population level in the city. It will take some time for him to come back so it will be the perfect timing to steal the papers, since he put me in charge of the documents" Jack stated as I listened carefully.

"We will need to put them somewhere where he wouldn't find them. I say we put it in your bra? It's like padded as I heard and y'all girls hide shit there" He said and I looked at him kinda confused, but I agreed since it's actually a good hiding spot.

"The money and stuff won't be a problem. We will pack it all in your bag and if they catch us and ask about it we can just say that you want to change some clothes in the ma or I don't know" He said.

"Then, we run. Run fast, as fast as possible, because one Slender catches us, it's over. For us both"  He said and j nodded.

"Alright, go to sleep then. We need to rest, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow, so we need to rest" I said as Jack and I got up.

He gave me a kiss and left my room. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I couldn't help but think about tomorrow. What will we do after? What if they caths us, find us? What if we die? The thoughts ran through my mind as warm water ran down my body.

I got ready and went to sleep. I should worry so much. I need to rest.

TIME SKIP

Slender just left, and our plan was a go. Jack and I went to his office e and looked the door. I couldn't help but look at the others eyeing us, as if they knew what we were doing.

We searched for the papers on his desk, under it, on the shelves, everywhere, but till didn't find them.

"Found 'em motherfuckers!" Jack cheered as he took the papers out of an old book that was placed on the shelf next to him as I looked at him from behind the table.

"Awesome, let's go now, I will go first and you go after Slender comes back. We don't want to make things suspicious. Give me the papers now" I said and he handed me the papers while nodding.

I folded them and stuffed them in my bra as planned and got out of the office. I went to my room right after and took out my backpack. I started going through my wardrobe, picking some clothes and stuffing them in my backpack along with some other items that we will need.

I got ready and just went through my phone a little, and then heard Slender come back. I heard him talking to Jack and then he went to his room to pack. We decided that he will go straight to his room, not to make things suspicious.

After he got ready, he sneaked his way to my room with his stuff, and then we waited for the clock to hit 3AM.

TIME SKIP (sorry)

The clock hit 3AM and we stood up ready to go to the window. I headed first. I threw my bag out and made my way out through the window of my room, and so did Jack. We were about to make out run until,

"Where do you think you're going?"

We're getting closer to the end! I hope you guys are excited, 'cause so am I. I got my phone just for this night because of school, so I made some time to write this chapter.
The second chapter won't come out in a while, I will assure you that, but I'll try to publish as soon as possible. The last two chapters I'll make sure to publish at the same time, one after and when you read them you will see why.
