Y/N: "Where the hell am I?"

As you walked around the area, you noticed it was pretty foggy. Almost as if you were in heaven.

Y/N: "Am I dreaming?"

"Hello."

A smaller, way more younger Marnie stood right in front of you. Except you couldn't see it.

"Down here!"

You looked down.

Y/N: "Marnie?"

"Yep!"

Y/N: "Can I wake up now? I feel like a five minute sleep does not come with a strange dream."

"Are you calling me strange mister?"

Y/N: "Not at all! Just peculiar—did you call me mister?"

The little Marnie tilts her head to the side, curiously looking at you.

"Teehee. I did."

Y/N: "Right. Well it was nice seeing you but I have to wake up now. I'm pretty hungry."

"Aww...we'll see each other again right?"

Y/N: "Maybe."

"What do you mean maybe? Fine, I'll see you some other day, bye!"

Y/N: "B-Bye."

A slap brings Y/N back to the real world.

F/N: "Jeez, you're finally awake. If you hadn't woken up I probably would've used an all out hydro pump on you."

Y/N looks at F/N, squinting his eyes.

Y/N: "Haha, that sure is funny."

F/N: "I'm dead serious."

Y/N: "Okay then, where's Marnie?"

F/N: "She's right next to you."

Y/N turned his head and indeed, Marnie was there sleeping like a baby.

Y/N: "Yeah let's eat breakfast."

F/N: "It's one thirty!"

Y/N: "Afternoon?"

F/N: "Well yeah!"

Y/N: "Huh. Ok then."

After waking Marnie up, the couple change into their everyday clothes and spend some time just relaxing on the couch, in front of the fire made in the fireplace.

Gloria: "Kind of a shame Dante left while you were sleeping."

Y/N: "I wonder what happened. He didn't even leave a goodbye note or anything."

F/N: "Something interesting must've happened I'm sure."

F/N passes her rotom phone to Y/N, which had a black and white color theme to it, and shows him the picture she took that morning."

Y/N: "Are they...cuddling?"

Gloria: "WHEN DID YOU TAKE THAT PICTURE?! DELETE IT NOW REEEEEEE—!"

F/N started running for her life as Gloria chased after her.

Barry: "They're interesting."

Marnie: "They truly are."

Barry looked at his wrist, which somehow had a watch on it.

Barry: "Oh wow, look at the time I should probably go."

Y/N: "Where exactly?"

Barry: "Well, when you two were sleeping, I ran around the region and I met this really nice guy, I think his name was Leon or something but he found me a place to live."

Y/N smiles, remembering his match with Leon.

Y/N: "Well my friend, I'll be seeing you around."

They shake hands.

Marnie: "Bye Barry."

Barry: "Bye Marnie. Ummm...bye F/N."

F/N was still running.

F/N: "Bye Barry—"

Gloria: "I GOT YOU!"

Gloria pushed F/N to the ground and sat on her.

Gloria: "Give me the phone!"

Barry: "I'll leave you girls to whatever it is you're doing."

Barry speeds off.

Y/N: "Hey Gloria, can you close the door once you're done?"

Gloria: "Alright!"

Marnie: "Oh yeah, F/N sent the picture to both Y/N and I so tryin' to delete it from her phone is useless."

Gloria stays on top of F/N, with a face that clearly shows defeat.

F/N: "Ten steps ahead. Woo."

NEXT DAY

Y/N: "Marnie, what are you doing?"

Marnie was wearing a doctor's outfit.

Marnie: "How does it look on me?"

Y/N: "It looks fine, but why are you wearing it?"

Marnie: "I thought we could do something fun today. I'll be taking care of you."

With suspicion, Y/N carefully walked around the room and wondered what Marnie was planning.

Y/N: "Okay I'll bite, what do I do doctor?"

Marnie: "Well, lay on the bed."

Y/N does what Marnie says and lays down on the bed.

Marnie: "Okay now ummmm...here I have this thingy that..."

Checking her pockets, Marnie pulls out a stethoscope.

Y/N: "That's a stethoscope and it goes around your neck."

Marnie: "I'm the doctor here."

Y/N: "Sorry."

Marnie puts the stethoscope around her neck and places the earpieces in her ear and the diaphragm on her chest.

Marnie: "Oh. Interesting."

Y/N: "That goes on my chest."

Marnie: "On your chest. I knew that."

She gently places it on Y/N's chest and listens.

Marnie: "Ooh. That's a very calm noise. Very even. Not too fast but not too slow."

Y/N starts patting Marnie's head. The environment gains a more comfy feeling as the two trainers look at each other's eyes. Marnie's face starts heating up as Y/N holds her hand and gets really close to her ear and slowly removes the earpieces, whispering into her ear:

Y/N: "I really love you, you dummy."

Marnie keeps on looking at Y/N until she realizes that...

Marnie: "W-Well, ahem! Your heartbeat seems to be p-perfectly fine, Mr. L/N..."

She quickly reaches into her bag and pulls out a syringe.

Y/N: "Woah! Hold on is that real?"

Marnie: "Yes! N-Now don't fight it."

Her embarrassment almost got the better of her but Y/N grabs the syringe from her hand.

Y/N: "How about we move onto something else?"

Marnie: "R-Right..."
