They start prepping up for the kozhukattai, then

Dhanam, Mullai and Meena... sit with the mel maavu and pooranam to prepare the kozhukattais

Me: oralavukku panna theriyum

Dhanam: idhu saamiku pandrathu adhunala bhakthiyoda pannanum...seriya

Meena ...nalla vendikittu pannu..enna seriya...

With all the disclaimers and caution given by dhanam..both of them were very serious and prepared the kozhukattais sincerely...

They kept preparing the kozhakattai choppu and filled each of it with the sweet poornam.

After about a few by each of them...dhanam spoke..

Dhanam: Meena Nan chumma dhaan sonnean...unnala mudinja varai pannu..ukkara mudilana vechuru..naanga pathukarom

Meena: mindvoice- aiyo ippo enna sonnalum ottuvanga..pesama silent ah irundhuralam...

Meena helps with a few and she retires to take rest...

Dhanam and Mullai continue doing..

Dhanam: Mullai...unakku oru vishayam theriyuma...

Indha kozhakattana Kathirku romba pidikum..

Mullai: instant glow in her face.

Her excitement shifted gears drastically upwards....which was evident in her voice and expression.

she is all smiles...

She was glowing as though she saw him relishing the kozhukattais already.

Mullai was in deep thoughts about kathir...and her world had stopped.the outside world!!

This brought her back to this world... unwillingly and she now gained her senses to realize the production has been stopped.

Mullai: she quickly pulled herself together and asked....ohhhh.....eanka...

mullai felt bad initially as they can't take home a few kozhukattais..and kathir may not be able to have some, despite she spending hours together in making so many of them.

But she is happy... she got to know atleast one thing kathir likes..unlike the last time she was confused with parupu payasam during kathirz birthday...

They keep making and finish off the batch of 108. Then they were taken to the kitchen.

Kozhukattais were steamed and brought to the hall to be cooled before they could be packed..

Dhanam goes in and fetches a thooku.

Dhanam: seri..indhaa..indha pathiratha pidi...idhula eduthu vei..naan ready ageetu vandhurrean..

Mullai seekiram pack paneeru..
naan kathir ah Vara soleerkean kootetu poga.adhukulla naan vandhurrean.

Mullai's face brightens as soon as she heard kathir's name.

She felt it was yet another reason for her to get a glimpse of him in the day.

Meeting him at home in the day time was her favourite of all...he seemed to be beaming with energy every time he makes home in the morning...

Though she awaits the evenings to spend some time with him, he returns home tired mostly, after all the toil at work.

Looking at a vibhoothi clad kathir mezmerized her..she could keep looking at him for a whole day.

With that thought, she loaded the thooku, counted the kozhukattais carefully, sealed it tight and awaited kathir like a toddler looking forward for a candy.

She was all eyes towards the door and every passing vehicle gave her an adrenaline rush.

That's when a vehicle sound was heard so near and it stopped close by at their entrance.
