guide to being a perfect woman
the woman
"You must be prim."
Ladies must dress a certain way.
"You must be proper."
Put your creativity away.
"You must be educated."
You'll amount to nothing otherwise.
"You must abstain."
The devil feeds off of a whore's cries.
"You must sound smart."
Act like you belong or bare the shame.
"You must be covered."
Remember, you are always to blame.
the man
"She is a prude."
But she followed all of your rules.
"She thinks she knows it all."
You've made her into a fool's fool.
"She is boring."
You dulled the colour she personified.
"She is a slut."
For making a choice about her own body.
"She's a smart mouth."
Because she does it better than you.
"She's left nothing for us to see."
Nothing to objectify, whatever will you do?
