"I never loved you, hunter, you were nothing more than a tool for me to gain what I seek and now that I have it you are no longer useful to me" hunter heard before the cold feeling of steel pressed against his neck before a swift motion brought nothingness; the darkness slowly consuming him only to be followed by his thoughts becoming clouded as if his body was shutting down. A feeling of emptiness hollowing him out

A few moments later hunter opened his eyes to witness himself standing before a set of gates each shining as if they were lit with the power of the sun. Hunter stood there for a moment as the cloudy thoughts faded slowly the longer he stood then, the newly dead human looked around the gates to find himself standing in a line surrounded by other souls, to his surprise Hunter was wearing a blacken suit fitted with red stripes running down his jacket like lines of white powder that he sold all the time, while lost in thought a voice brought him back to reality  "next up is hunter step forward my child and be judged so that you may be sent where you belong". the voice boomed with power and yet a calmness. but the newly dead man felt unable to stop himself from lifting his head to be met with a smaller male with just a white robe and halo, a smile crossing his face as for the next moment hunter fell to his knee's his mind playing back every murder and sin that stained his once white soul "it seems you have done a great job of removing every bit of innocents from yourself hunter, then it pains me to send to you hell; enjoy the rest of time" the man spoke with plainness as the white platform that the male was standing on vanishes once again hunter finds himself free-falling back to earth only to pass it. The darkness takes him once more before hunter finds himself in a city that reminds him of New York.

While this was nothing new it made him uneasy being in so-called hell so getting up and dusting his newfound suit, Hunter found a sudden pain erupting from his shoulder like he had been kissed by the sun. The pain forced him to his knees the young demon was unable to suppress a scream as he felt his very skin pulling itself apart and tearing as well as his suit as darkness slowly crept along with his vision, unable to keep his strength up his face hit the dirt again, a dark shadow creeping over towering but just outside of his sight, its voice sounded like an old radio trying to find a channel to tune into "my-my it seems another lesser demon is born" the voice sounded male but the weakened male kept his face in the dirt as whatever was hurting him kept him weak, the last image he was a tallish male bending down dressed in a suit with a staff in his hand. The new demon's glowing red eyes seemly looking into hunter's soul before he passed out again

Many hours later

"James my love where did you go, I kind of need to speak to you" a man walked down the slightly chipping halls looking for his lover stopping to talk a look in a small mirror revealing his freshly cut hair that somehow found itself dirty already, his dark piercing eyes staring blankly back at the man before it a soft voice snaps him back to the world "downstairs hunter" the voice answered before sinking back into the shadows, Hunter smiles himself as he opened the door to the basement only to find nothing staring back at him but whitened out eyes, some seemly asking for his help while others cursed the day of his birth, the light-skinned male frozen as a blackened hand reaches through the door grabbing him pulling him in, lighting something deep inside aflame Hunter finding himself unable to scream as he burns when a clear voice called out to him "oh don't die on me yet, I see so much promise in you" the voice called out as slight static

Moments later the new demon sprang up to face the unknown demon before him, though to his shock the area around him is littered with midnight feathers like a flock of birds sat around him pulling the feathers out. The pain in his shoulders is gone, more to the young dammed horror, He found his skin has forsaken its normal olive color for blood-like pigment "what did you do to me demon" hunter called out to the darkened figure; a few moments pass before it speaks up once again a radio like speech "why I did not do anything thought most demons find themselves already turned before they get here I wonder why you are different" the shadow covered male walks forward again so hunter could see him more clearly. The radio-like demon wore a suit simile to his own but it seemed older, his hair that of a deer's fur and a cane with what seemed to be a microphone, the Demons Blood red eyes watching Everything hunter did before adjusting this single eyewear  "I do not know but seeming as I am new around these parts know any place I could stay till I land on my feet" hunter asked while he removed his tops to his due to the tightness he found around his chest, the air escaping his lungs as he found that he now had blackened wings spanning around 10 feet, Not only that but he was now taller than the red-suited demon before him, Hunter was chuckling to himself as he rolled his shoulders trying to will his wings to tuck themselves. Found that his wings obeyed moving around his shoulders and tucking the cold tips around his waist though his exploring was cut short by the demon before him clearing its throat "as it so happens the princess of hell just opened a hotel for the kind of demon you are so I suppose we can go ask her" he spoke with a kind of sureness that makes you trust him as the two demons start heading north "I never caught your name" hunter asked him while the red-suited demon walked "Alastor" he spoke plainly but quickly asked "and your's?" hunter took a moment before smiling "Erebus"
