Chapter XXVIII: The big day

Weeks have passed as the Overlord had awoken to find Angel had left early to get everything set up, throwing his feet off his bed Erebus looked around popping his neck before grabbing a plastic bag from the closet with a smile "today is the day, I hope everything goes well" the demon thought to himself before putting on a dark gray suit with a blue tie when a knock on the door snapped him back. Almost running to the door he opened it to find Alastor dressed up in a matching gray suit "you know this is very stiff to wear, why did you let angel pick this out" the demon's voice without static as he walked in "Alastor you should now that what he wants he gets, I'm not going to deny him this, may I offer you a drink?" the radio demon nodded so Erebus poured him a whiskey straight as well as himself "so did Charlie say yes to the offer, its hard to do this is we don't have a high ranking demon to allow it" Erebus narrowed his eyes at his friend "charlie said hell ya, she even wanted to do it for free" the two smile at each other as they clink the glasses together "oh I need to ask you something, have you noticed that angel has changed, I can not put my finger on it, but I have seen him decline drink and drugs for the last three weeks, I've heard him throwing up in the bathroom and shit he has been eating me under the table, he went to the doctor yesterday and did not tell me what the doc said" Alastor shruged for a moment "who knows what goes through the spiders mind, perhaps he is just nervous for today" for a moment Erebus looked away getting lost in though "well we better hurry or Charlie and angel will gut us" the two demon's smile at each other before they walk out of the apartment with Erebus looking back in with a single glace he smiled sweetly to himself as he looked at the countless pictures of him and angel hanging around "Breath Hunter, this time will be different, he loves you without the thoughts of killing you"

Angel stood in a store with Charlie and vagie while he tried on different dresses, once coming out an ashen white with a smile "what do you girls think, I love it" a ping of joy crossing his eyes as he does a spin "we love it" both female demon's ring out at the same time, "so what is the important news you wanted to share with us? come on Angie do not keep it from us" the spider sat down next to them looking around to the other female demons making sure they were not eavesdropping "I'm having Erebus's child" Charlie's eyes shoot open while she grabs angels hands "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, do not get me wrong I am very happy for you, but you are an earthborn soul, it should be impossible for two Earth born's to have a child, how long have you known, do you have a name picked out, does Erebus know, is this why you are getting married to him? do I need to kick his ass?" Angel chucked at her before pulling his hands free "I am aware that it should be impossible but I will not look a gift in the wrapping, I found out yesterday after the smell of drugs made me sick as well as wanting to eat so much more food, I plan to tell Erebus later tonight but I'm scared he will not love me anymore, and no offense love, but I think you could not come close to kicking his ass, he even says he has the perfect honeymoon planned something about returning to earth for a few weeks in his home town" angel looked away before getting up changing back into his normal outfit of a low v neck with a short skirt, giving the cashier the money for the dress walking out with his friends heading to the looming church a ping of panic running in his veins as they got closer

after a few more hours Erebus walked into the church with charlie dressed up standing near the alter, taking a quick look around the suited demon could not help but see the other overlords and even Charlies father, the king of hell with his wife in the front smiling at him, just their smiles away enough for his fangs to drop in his mouth out of distrust, but he took his spot beside Alastor who weirdly had his hair tied back, the blood of the suited demon pumping quickly as the march of the bride starts playing as the door swung open to show angel and molly walking down the Alley, with each step the tone pinged deep within his soul, every demon standing with smiles on their face. In one moment angel stood before him smiling with his face covered by a vail

"We are gathered here to witness the marriage of Erebus moonsinger and Angel dust, as I am aware the couple has written their own vows," Erebus nods with angel the following suit right behind him

"angel while we have known each other I have felt like I was lost and drowning, in the time of being with you, I have found myself within you, for as long as my lungs take in air, my lips shall only utter my love for you, my hands will protect you with every ouch of strength I have, for as long as we live there will be no one that I love as much as you. You are the moon for which I howl in the brightest of days and the darkest of nights" Erebus looked up for just a moment wiping the single tear from the face of his love before angel pulled a piece of paper

"Erebus my love, with your help I have found the safety I have always seemed, in the short time before you pronounced your love for me, I was too drowning in hatred for myself and others, you helped me find my path, with the air in my lungs, I shall only promise my love for you, with the demons in this room I shall only stand by your side, no one can take me from you as my heart beats in unison with yours i promise to wipe your tears away and fight the nightmares with pride"

charlie wiped a tear away before clearing her throat "Erebus do you take Angel to be your loving husband as long as your lungs draw breath?" the suited demon nods "yes" Angel do you take Erebus to be your loving husband as long as your lungs draw breath?" Angel nods "yes"

"then as the princess of hell and the next in line to the throne of hell, i pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss the bride" Erebus removed the vail kissing angel softly pulling him closer moments pass before angel pulled away only to lean close "Erebus my love, i need to let you know that you are going to be a father, i am with your child" Erebus pulled back as his eyes widen "really?" the spider nodded looking down only for Erebus to pulls his head back up with a claw "then i guess we should get ready for the spawn we made, our family is now whole" the black eyed demon smiled softly kissing his love once more before waving his free hand to open a portal leading to a bright and sunny place "shall we go, we do have a honey moon to take part in" as the two stepped through Erebus looked back "Lilly take care of the pack and await our return, we now have a hair to take the throne ready the pack"
