***The darkening room ducked and swayed out of my vision, the backs of my eyes stung threatening to spill the unshed tears. My heart lurched in my throat as my knees buckled sending me to the cold white covered ground. The frigid metal falling from numb fingers still holding the sad urgent sobs. My heart nor my mind allowed the information that just wracked my already fragile walls allowing them to crush my very existence, with only two blearily heard words.***

Adults always asked what you wanted be when you grew up, always the same answers replied, princes, veterinarian, firefighter. They always told you the impossible dreams that no matter what you want to do, you can do it if you put your mind to it. But they never told me that if you tried too hard you would end up on the side of a street in the dead of winter, selling the piece of crap that I am.
