Soft whisps of hair danced in the gentle sea breeze. The salty air tasted on her flush-pink lips. Eyes the color of the ocean in front, that lapped at the boats dotting the distant horizon.
The beautiful melody of her voice played his very essence, as they stood in the middle of time. No attention paid to the people walking by, unaware to the young innocent love that took place before their eyes.
The two star-crossed lovers looking into each other's tear-blurred eyes, desperately seeking the hope that neither could find.
Her bare foot stepped a step closer, his following in suit. Toes hanging clenched across the cracking dilapidated edge.
They whispered their once sweet nothings, that now held the weight of their beings for only each other's ears to hold them close.
Their breath hitched as the waves rushed up and they plunged down.
The water darkening as they enveloped them, like the world did to their pure souls...
