You were heading to class with your best friend Kat and while you were going inside you forgot today was Valentines day. Before you opened the door Kat stopped you and smirked at you.
Kat: soo.. Y/n you gonna ask him? Y/n: huh? Ask what? What are you talking about? Kat: *whispers* Colby.
You blushed and smacked her hand away, opened the door. The first thing you saw was Colby and Sam whispering to each other about something while looking at you.

Colby: guys today's Valentine's day! I've been planning to ask her out and today is the day I'm going to do that. Sam: honestly bro, I believe that you can do this but I think you wouldn't do it. Colby: why would you think that? I'll do it this time I swear! Sam: ok, ok I believe you. Colby: ok. good. Now... what should I do about Y/n? Should I like give her a cord or what?
You sat down after getting a book off the Shelf in the classroom.
Kat: hey! Y/n! Come here. Y/n: yea? Kat: I think he's planning on asking you out. Y/n: what?
You looked towards Colby locking eyes with him and blushing while locking away.
Y/n: why do you think that he's planning on asking me out? Kat: because 1: he keeps looking at you and talking to Sam 2: because how could anyone NOT like you 3: because I remember Colby telling me that he likes you some time before. Y/n: well maybe he changed his mind on liking me. Plus he may like some other girl. Kat: nah. Don't doubt yourself Y/n. Just stay on the positive side for me. Ok? Y/n: ookk. Kat: ok good.
The teacher called out to the class that everyone could pass out their Valentines day cards to everyone. You didn't bring anything so you just sat tight in your desk reading.
You heard footsteps behind you and saw Colby twiddling his fingers and looking at the ground while blushing.
Colby: h- hey Y/n? Y/n: um.. yea? Colby: can I ask you... something? Y/n: sure go ahead. Colby: so.. i- I've liked you for a while and I've been thinking on how much of an amazing person you are to everyone especially the people you don't even know. When I'm having a bad say and Sam isn't there to comfort me you're always there and you ways put my smile back on my face again. And you smile makes me blush and give butterflies in my stomach cause of how beautiful you are and of how much you love and care about others. You're just amazing to be around and I was wondering... will you go out with me?
Colby just stood there biting his bottom lip nervously whe looking at you. You looked at him shocked.
Y/n: *turns around* me?
Colby just chuckles and sits beside you.

You hugged Colby and he was hesitant at first but hugged you back instantly.
