Laura's POV.
I was running at first, but I didn't know why. I didn't even know where I was going. Then I became tired and slowed down.
The winter air froze my legs, arms, face, and bare feet. I was only wearing a black nightgown.
I fall down in front of a large gate. Looking up, I see a sign that says, "XAVIER'S SCHOOL FOR GIFTED YOUNGSTERS". The name was familiar, but I couldn't remember how I knew.
"Help..." I whisper as I crawl through the gates. "Please..." I get up and start walking slowly to the door.
I try the knob, but it was locked. I begin slamming on the door, "Help... please?" I whisper.
Suddenly, my vision blurs and I feel dizzy.
The door opens to show a very tall man with dark hair, "Can I... kid? Kid?! You okay?!" the man asks.
My vision gets darker, "Help?" I collapse.
