this promise is never meant to be broken

"i couldn't promise you that i'll love you forever—for as long as i live. i mean, i really want to, but i couldn't. it's out of my reach.

instead, i'd promise you another thing. i promise that i would always be here. even if someday my feelings fade away or change or whatever—i promise you that i'll keep on trying to love you again. i couldn't promise you that my love will stay intact, but i could promise you that i'm not going anywhere.

because the thing is; even when i feel like my feelings are slowly slipping away—i'd be glad to do anything for them to come back again. i'd learn to love you again and again and again.

and i promise you that i'll never stop."
