"Arielle, where are your parents? They're never here." Dani asked. 

"They went to visit my grandmother. She lives in Mississippi and she's really old and sick. They're just staying there for a bit. But my parents and I aren't really close. I mean, they had no idea I went to London, and they never found out about the switch." I replied, putting an empty plate in the sink. 

She was silent, the only sound coming from the running water. 

"So, have you spoken to Eleanor recently?" she questioned. 

"No. Not once. It's like she's completely ignoring me. Like, I text her and ask her to fly out here, but she never answers." I sighed. "Does she talk to you at all?" 

"She did a few times. But she's not the same El we know." 

"What do you think is wrong with her?" I asked, finishing off the dishes. 

"I have no idea. She's never been like this before." 

"Maybe she and Brad broke up." I shrugged. Dani nodded in agreement and we both traipsed to the living room. 

"Speak of the devil." Dani muttered, staring at the tall brunette. 

"El, what are you doing here?" I asked cheerfully.

"I want my life back." she snapped. 

"Whoa, excuse me, but first of all no. And second of all fuck you." I listed sassily. 

"This wasn't supposed to happen! You were supposed to cover for me while I had a hall pass!" she yelled. 

"Hall Pass?" Dani questioned. 

"Wait, so you didn't want to get away from the media. You wanted to get away from Louis? You wanted to cheat on him?" I growled, stepping closer to her. 

Dani walked over to Liam, who was standing on the other side of the room with the boys. 

"What's a hall pass?" she asked him quietly. 

"A free pass to do anything you want. Like, if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend you can cheat on them." Liam explained. 

"Why the hell would you want to cheat on him?" I snarled, taking another step closer. 

"But I didn't cheat on him! You see, he cheated on me with you." she smirked and crossed her arms.
