I peered down as he was double over, his arms wrapped around him tightly. He showed me his hand, his shaking, bloody hand. "Oh my God." I unwrapped my scarf from my neck and wrapped it around Jungkook's hand. "We need to get to the hospital." I pulled out my phone and dialed the ambulance, dragging Jungkook behind me, straight path to the elevator.

"I don't want to cuss in front of you but this fucking hurts." Jungkook leaned against the wall of the elevator as we anxiously waited for the doors to open again.

"You're going to be okay, I promise." I reassured, rubbing his back just before the doors opened and an ambulance was waiting for us. They couldn't do much until we got to the hospital. It would be quite hard to stitch in a moving vehicle.

"What's your name son?" A nurse asked us as he wrote down Jungkook's conditions on a clipboard.

"Jeon Jeongguk." Jungkook grimaced. I don't understand why, they had his hand wrapped and such. But the nurse froze and looked back up at Jungkook.

"Sir do we need to call your company-?"

"No!" Jungkook's eyes widened as the doors to the ambulance opened. "I'm fine. Don't call anyone else." I frowned and accepted the hand of another nurse and he helped me down from the ambulance, Jungkook right behind me. A wheelchair was waiting and he was wheeled by a different nurse and I followed, very confused about this 'company'.

"Jungkook." I sat down beside the bed he was laying in, setting my backpack on the floor by my suitcase. "What company?" Jungkook's eyes widened but relaxed quickly. He sat up and took off his mask and baseball cap, and a lot more hair than expected fell out.

"Nice hair

"Nice hair." I breathed, completely amazed by his hair. It looked so, healthy.

"Thanks." He flicked it out of his face. Then a blush fell upon his face. "Hey, um, do you have a hair tie?" I smiled and pulled one off of my wrist.

"I can do it." I stood up and started to pull his hair into a ponytail. Yes, there is enough hair for that. "You probably don't want blood in your hair." Jungkook hummed in agreement and allowed me to do his hair. "So I can only do a half up half down, is that okay?"

"It's perfect." His hands felt around his hair to feel what it looks like. "Thank you."

A doctor walked in, interrupting our conversation and explained the stitches and such. Jungkook seemed, scared.

"I've never gotten stitches before." He leaned over to me, whispered as the doctor got some things before. "Can you hold my hand?" Now it was my turn to blush. A hot guy has never asked me this.

"Sure." I stood beside him and he held my hand with his left, his right one injured. "It won't take long." And then the doctor started and Jungkook held onto my hand for dear life. I grimaced as I watched both of our fingers turn white. But when I saw his face, he looked perfectly calm. Amazing how he can just channel is reaction into one action. "You okay?"

"Mhm." Jungkook smiled up at me. "You're doing great. I mean...uh...yeah." I giggled and patted his hand.

"You're doing great as well." I glanced over at the doctor who was smiling as he started to wrap Jungkook's hand. "So well that it's over." Jungkook looked over with wide eyes and smiled.

"Thanks Annika."

"Now you do have to stay for a little bit just incase, is that alright?" The doctor threw his gloves away and washed his hands. "Can I get you two anything?" Jungkook glanced over at me and I shook my head.

"Nope I think we're good." Jungkook smiled and touched his hand. "Thanks again Doc." The doctor nodded and shut the door behind him. Jungkook sighed and stared at me, smiling.

"What?" I crossed my legs, smiling too.

"You're awesome." Jungkook adjusted his sitting position. "You're just hanging out with me in the hospital, holding my hand after only knowing each other for not even an hour and doing my hair for free."

"Do you want me to leave-"

"No!" Jungkook exclaimed and I almost laughed but smiled instead. "I like hanging out with you." There goes my heart again. Man Jeon Jungkook, stop it will you. "You don't know who I am, do you?" He had a gentle smile on his face, a calm facade, and I fell in love with his eyes all over again.

"Am I supposed to?" I frowned as I wracked my brain for his face. But nothing came up. "Sorry?"

"No it's perfect." Jungkook reassured and so watched his eyes drift lower. "Hey," He frowned and I bit my lip, loving the view. "Where did you get that scar from?" I touched my neck, feeling the uneven surface.

"It's a long story." I tried to get out of my tragic story telling, but Jungkook was curious.

"Is it a story you're willing to tell?" Jungkook crossed his arms and leaned back, crossing his ankles.

"Only if you're willing to listen." I teased back, folding my hands in my lap. He grinned and nodded.

Turns out, Jungkook was slightly scared of my story.

"That's my biggest fear." Jungkook's eyes were still wide after I was done. "You were held hostage?"

"In front of my entire school." I nodded, trying to hide in my coat without making it obvious. "It really changed my life."

"Geez Annika," Jungkook ran his hand down his face, sighing. "I'm so sorry that had to happen to you."

"Hey it's okay." I reassured, a gentle (hopefully) smile on my face. "I survived, didn't I?"

"I'm glad you did." I saw his cheeks redden slightly, but a nurse walked in before I could confirm it.

"You two are both free to go." She smiled at us, boeing slightly. "It was an honor to have you Mr. Jeon." Jungkook nervously laughed and bowed slightly as well.

"Thanks for helping me." Jungkook pulled my backpack over his shoulder before I could protest. "I got it." He reassured. "It was only my hand." I sighed and followed him out of the hospital. We sat down on a bench to regroup and figure out what we were going to do.

"Oh no." I looked down at my phone notification, my entire day ruined. "This is horrible."

"What what what?" Jungkook tried to look at my phone, eyes wide as he pulled his face mask up before stuffing his hair back in the hat.

"My apartment cancelled." I put my head in my hands, groaning. "They found a higher payer." We sat the for a few minutes, me trying to figure out another plan. I need a permanent spot, not a hotel. I guess I could-

"Come to my place." Jungkook spoke, interrupting my thoughts.

"What?" I sat up again and stared at Jungkook like he is crazy.

"Yeah. I own a big apartment with no, wanted guests...." He drifted off and smiled. "Yeah I don't mind." He must've seen the uncertainity in my face. "It'll only cost one game of Mario Kart."

"Are you sure?" I grimaced slightly, guilt hitting me pretty hard. "You really don't have to..."

"I want to Annika." He slung his arm around me and gestured to the air in front of us. "I can see our future." He turned to me and smiled. "We're going to be the best of friends!" I smiled.

I'll take that.
