Chapter 7-love hurts

His head hurt like a sleadge hammer had just hit it.
Callum groaned as he tried to get up.
He found himself in the throne asleep.
He had a head ache and all around him was mugs of beer.
Five more miniutes..He thought as he drifted of.

Claudia POV
Rayla was back.
With her fiancé Tiger.
Tiger was cool.
A lot like Callum but he had that rough edge to him.
Rayla told me today to keep Tiger busy.
She didn't tell why though.
My only explanation is that she was gonna have a good long talk to Callum.
She needed to make him mind straight.
He did..but as soon as she came back.
He's became the train wreck he was four years ago.
I walked along the corridor and tried to find Tiger.
"Tiger?",I shouted.
"Ya what?!",He said is his manly deep vioce.
He opened his bedroom door.
He was just waring trousers.
I blushed he had a six pack.
"Um-I-We t-t-talk?"
Why was I stuttering it may be because of his abs and his dark pearcing blue eyes.
No I love Callum what's wrong with me?!

"Oh..Your Claudia..Rayla talked about you a lot..",he then blurred on But I was just staring at his abs.
Those hard abs.
"She..When we first started dating..Said something about how you kicked her when she was kissing a boy..She never said his name.."
That bit caught me by surprise.
"Callum!",I snapped.
"What?!".
"Callum that's the name of the boy..You see I had a crush on him then and she landed on top of him and I.."
I then blared on,"Any how..You know the prince here..He was him."
Tiger then looked like he had snapped.
"Ya know what ya let's go have that chat!"
He looked like something inside him had been broken.
"Ok..",I stuttered,I had a tint of fear.
"Actually..Can we go to Xadia..I should know the couture seeing as Im probably going to be auntie Claudia!",I gushed as I followed Tiger.
He coughed into his hand.
"A bit early to think about that?!",he coughed again.
We carried on walking in silence...
"I met Rayla when I started the dragon guard service.We where just friends.
She was kinda a wreck.
I was there for her and so was Zym..Eventually she told me about that day and she was ready to move on..I didn't know what she meant then but I finally racked up enough corague to ask her on a date and she said yes..And the rest is history."
What that as a cool story but I needed to get something of my chest.
"Ya know your not waring a top right?!",I finally snapped,a feel of relief.
"Oh I do..",he answered smiling very smugly.
"Your trying to impress me aren't you?"
He chuckled.
"No I just don't like t-shirts!"
I laughed.
"But you know we can't travel to Xadia in one day..Right?!",He said as we carried on walking down the long hallway.
"Yes?"
"You probably don't!"
"Ya You should do it after the wedding!",He then joked.
His laugh was so goofy!
We carried on walking and I could smell a faint smell of dirt and after shave.
I started fiddling with my dress my insides doing summer salts..
I sniffed again..
I realised I was falling for...An elf..
But I have a boyfriend?!
What should I do..

Raylas POV
I woke up and to my disarray there was knocking on the door.
I got up and unlocked it.
"Look cant you see I'm trying to sleep?!"
It was Ezran he looked tired and he grabbed me by the shoulders and dragged me out of the room.
"What?"
He sighed and took his hand of my shoulder.
"Tiger may not remember much from last night but I do..", he said but I was just confused.
Last night why was he telling me this?
"Wait why are you talking about last night?!"
He sighed.
"Ok I need to tell you something.",He said and looked down when he said this.
"Callum wants to kill himself..That and I think he still has feelings for you."

I bugged Callum's shoulder.
Why is he such a deep sleeper?
"Callum!",I shouted in his ear.
No response.
For a split second I thought he had alcohol poisoning..
"Wha—"
"Finally!",I interrupted him.
He backed away from me.
"Rayla..."
"Yes Callum?",I then realised this was like five years ago.
I moved back and helped him up.
He looked at me..
He had sparkles in his eyes.
He gave me that look and I don't know if he wanted to laugh or kiss me..
I sighed.
He still loves me...Exactly what Ezran has said.
And I —
No I love Tiger any way..He has Claudia.

Callum's POV
Rayla and me walked into the royal gardens.
To my annoyance.
All I had planned for today was well drinking.
Today we where travelling to the moon nexus.
Rayla was more quiet than usual and I soon noticed how much I smelt of beer and puke.
Infact my top had puke on.
I wanted to take the thing of.
We walked for a while and I stopped.
"Rayla what do you want?",I asked while I took my puke covered top of.
"To talk to you..Claudia yesterday mentioned how you aren't the same..Since I came here..",her voice cracked when she said here.
"Ez said..You.."
She stopped and looked up at me.
"Callum be honest with me.."
I was dreading what she was gonna say next.
"Callum do you really want to end your life?"
I looked away from her beautiful violet eyes.
"Callum do you love me still?"
Why is she bombarding me..
I then sighed.
"Yes..For both questions.",I said seeing as I have nothing to lose.
She hugged me and I melted into her.

She put her hand on my shoulder.
I jerked my head up.
She stared at my eyes.
"Because...",She looked away then back at me I smelt her sweet rose perfume and I could see dread scared and something else in those eyes,"I-I couldn't live with myself if you died."

Claudia POV
I sat down on a bench.
The bench I would usually sit on to read.
Tiger was looking up at the tree.
"Has that tree always been there?"
I gushed I would always say the same thing.
"Yep for around 1000 years!"
He chuckled.
"Your so funny!"
I blushed..god it was like child hood again!
"Don't you agree that humans should just be with humans?"
"Nah you should be able to be with anyone you want..I knew a human elf hybrid.It's happened before."
I then felt so bad.
I ruined Callum's and Raylas spark.
What was I thinking Rayla loves Tiger duh.
"Just..Well we'll never be together.",I chuckled.
"Yes I totally agree..",He laughed I stared at his lips and teeth god what was happening to me?!
I breathed in and had a huge whiff of dirt smell.
"what do you think Callum doing right now?",Tiger asked me.
I then gulped.
"Wait what's going on?!",He asked.
"Rayla She's talking to him.",I said he sighed,"Ya he definitely needs help..", Tiger said as he thought back to last night.
"He wanted o kill himself."
"I...",I said and felt tears forming in my eyes how could I respond he wanted to do what?!
"He what?!", I snapped and then let the tears fall.
"Is he ok?", I asked Tuger nodded.
"It's ok..",he said and then put my hair behind my ear.
He smiled at me.
"I really like your hair.."
I smiled.
"I like you.."

Raylas POV
Callum smiled but he just smiled I saw hurt behind his eyes.
"Your getting married.We'll never be together Ray...", He said and looked down at his hands.
I gave him a look.
"Callum..I can say no..",I said what was coming out my mouth?!
"No!",He pushed me away,"Not for me Tigers way better for you plus he's an Elf!"
That comment made my heart ache.
"Ya well..",I did to know what to say so I smiled sympathetically.
He stared into my eyes and I felt that feeling again.
"Stop!", he sobbed,"I'm not worth it!", He put his head in his hands and fell to the ground crying.
"I'm not he's so strong and handsome and cool and everyone loves him! I'm not worth the risk.", he sobbed and looked up st me whilst saying this.
I sat down and smiled.
"Yes you are-",I said and smiled at him his eyes tinted with something and with that he kissed me...

Tigers POV
She then gasped at what she said.
"Tiger I mean it as a friend thing..",she laughed.
"Oh.",I laughed,"I like you to Claudia..",
"Your a good friend Tigs."
"I know you mean more than a friend..",I whispered.
She looked at me.
She then chuckled,"Good friends."

Callum's POV
Rayla leaned of and stared into my eyes.
She brought her fingers up to her lips.
Her eyes filled up with what I think was fear.
"Why did you do that?", She whispered I looked at the ground.
"I'm sorry I got caught up in the moment.", I said but she just looked even more confused.
"I-I-I-", she started speaking but she cut herself off with a sigh.
"I-"
"Don't love me back I got it.", I said and started walking of.
I can't believe I just did that.
Your so stupid..
I then started to cry and the truth just set on me.
Rayla really doesn't love me back.
And I really love her.
