"Dianne I'm home" George exclaimed as he waltzed into the apartment they shared.

It was nearing 8am, and Dianne had only recently returned from a morning yoga class.

George had been away for a week with work filming a documentary and was excited to reunite with Dianne, his girlfriend of 6 months.

Their relationship had started off extremely well. Having met at the strictly after party, the two had hit off straight away. But recently Dianne had felt herself becoming more and more restricted by the guy she had come to love.

The "I love you"s we're quickly replaced with "let me check your phone so I know you're still mine babes" or the "gosh that outfit shows a big more than you really want to be showing doesn't it love"

Dianne was starting to feel torn, she was completely and utterly in love with this brunette model but every time he was around she felt less and less able to breathe.

"Dianne, do I get a welcome back, come on babe, show me how much you really missed me!"

"Im up here, two seconds I promise,"

"Hey" Dianne said smiling up at George.

"Hiya Darlin," George seductively kissed her neck, began undressing her and pulling her to the bedroom.

"George wait, you know we can't don't you, I'm on my period, it's the 15th"

"Urghhh Dianne really, you're actually useless sometimes, nothing but a useless slut who won't event sleep with me, your boyfriend!"

Dianne was disappointed at her boyfriends sudden outburst. Disappointed but sadly not surprised, his offensive speeches were becoming much more common than any affectionate talk that their relationship was first built upon.

"It's not exactly my fault," Dianne whispered under her breath, sighing when George's response told her she wasn't quiet enough.

"What did you just say to me?" His volume increasing as he spoke. "Dianne, don't you dare answer back to me, if this relationship is going to work, we need a bit of respect don't we?" George was now patronising her, as as Dianne was feeling particularly confident today, she decided she wasn't going to take it.

"Respect has to be earned George, you have to give it to receive it..."

Dianne was interrupted by a loud slap. Suddenly the side of her face was numb and she found her self ducking to avoid the swinging punch catapulting it's way towards her head. Only she wasn't fast enough and her nose was hit, followed by her eye. Shutting her eyes and refusing to accept the situation she had so rapidly found her self in, Dianne barely noticed her body being shoved across the wall and left alone.

"I'm going out, clean the mess up and think about why we don't answer back"

George stormed out of the apartment, and Dianne collapsed in tears on her own.

The pounding in her eye was becoming unbearable and she knew she'd need help at some point. Moreover she had rehearsals with Joe for strictly in an hour or so, they were trying to perfect an apparently rather difficult samba, both trying extra hard as Blackpool was the one week Joe had been desperate to reach. There was only one person she could call, only person who could do anything, and who she could rely on not to overact or freak out.

She couldn't call her family, being in Australia they realistically wouldn't be able to help and it would worry them unnecessarily.

She scrolled through her contacts in search of the one name.

"Hi Joe, can you come here before training today, I want to show you something?"

Dianne tried to sound as cheerful as possible, tried not to alarm her student she had got extrememely close with.
