"Dot? Dianne?" Joe called upstairs as the time neared 10am when they'd have a zoom call regarding the last Joe and Dianne show dates. It was the second week of what was looking like an eternal national lockdown and Dianne was for the first time, asleep longer than Joe. "Dianne" Joe shouted again, before lightly jogging up the stairs to check on her.

Relieved he'd not felt lazy enough that particular day to just text her from the opposite side of the apartment, Joe sighed when he found the redhead still sleeping. The king sized bed Joe and bought with the apartment in the peak of his bachelor years swamped the dancer; she was almost a little dot, making her childhood nickname very fitting, surrounded by the covers. His little dot anyways.

"Morning sweetheart, we've got that meeting today remember." Joe said at a normal volume, hoping to wake his sleeping girlfriend.

"Urghhh." Dianne sighed forcing her eyes open and hoping the bed would just swallow her up. She was exhausted and she never felt like this. Maybe after a full week of staying in, the lethargic mood that had apparently abducted the nation would effect her too. "I'll be 10 mins." She mumbled, forcing herself to sit up and noticing the room spin a little. Immediately she decided not to say anything, Joe was paranoid enough about the virus and she was certain she'd just sat up too quickly.

"Ah morning darling, coffees on the side, with your toast." Joe smiled when a very tired Dianne apparatus at the bottom of the stairs, dragging her feet behind her.

"You know me too well." Dianne sighed before taking a gulp of her coffee. Instant regret filled the Australian as she felt the liquid which she usually adored fall down her oesophagus. This confused Dianne, it wasn't like Joe couldn't make good coffee, he actually made a really nice one, but for some reason the taste did not sit right with her. In order to not hurt her boyfriends feelings after he had made her breakfast for the first time in months, Dianne sat down across the table from Joe's laptop and began munching on her toast and peanut butter, not mentioning the coffee.

"It's just a shame about those two venues but you guys have done such a good job." Joe commented at the end of the meeting, final rescheduled dates confirmed.

"Yep I'll just have to send them all over to my parents so they can get over here." Dianne joked feeling much more awake now she'd been up for a bit.

"Ahah thanks guys, stay safe, we'll talk soon."

Joe ended the call and smiled gently at Dianne who had immediately busied herself with the washing up. He reached his arms around her front and pulled her into a backwards cuddle, kissing her scalp lightly.

"Did you not sleep well last night? I didn't disturb you did I?" He asked softly.

"No I slept fine, why?" Dianne asked, turning around to face him and immediately eyeing up one of his spots.

"You were very tired this morning, that's all." Joe chuckled, pulling way from Dianne as she reached her hand up to his face and attempted to pick a spot. "Get off me, I was actually quite worried about you this morning you know?"

"Really?" Dianne asked, scared she hadn't hidden how crap she'd felt then, scared she wasn't hiding how crap she was feeling now. Then again, if she did admit to feeling rough, she could spend the day cuddling Joe, and right now that sounded ideal.

"Yeah, I don't know, you never sleep in late, and you were all pale, you still are a bit actually, you're feeling okay aren't you?" Joe asked suddenly concerned as Dianne to sighed loudly. This confirmed Joe's reasons for asking.

"I mean I think it's just staying in the house, I feel a bit meh." Dianne shrugged, leaning back into Joe's chest.

"That's it?" Joe asked concerned, one hand brushing the hair out of her face and the other rubbing her back.
