After months together, with varying degrees of national lockdown, it was fair to say that Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell wanted to get out of London. Not that the pair had struggled with isolation compared to so many of their friends who had been ranting about their other halves' annoying habits. The only dilemma was that both had been raised in the countryside, and had never spent so long in the city before. It was mutually decided that whilst hotels and bnbs were recovering, they would stay in chippy for a few nights, with no risk of breaking the strict 2 metre social distancing rules still present in the UK.

"Dot can you pass me a drink?" Joe asked, his eyes fixed on the M1 as chippy made his way north.

"Here, you alright?" Dianne asked, noticing how quiet he'd been for the last half an hour or so. She'd thought he was deep in thought, focusing on the road and letting the soft tunes playing calm his thoughts.

"Yeah, bit warm though, we might have to stop in Leicester and let chip cool down."

"Sorry still new to this, Leicester?"

"Yeah, it's about 20 miles away, but there's a services I think, so we can grab some lunch as well?" Joe asked, his eyes wandering to the beautiful redhead sat next to him. He smirked to himself, noticing how captivated she was by the British, midland countryside they were driving through. He really was so lucky.

"And we're here!" Joe announced as the camper pulled into a campsite somewhere in Cumbria. All Dianne knew was that it was beautiful. The contrast of rolling hills and dramatic mountains with cliff edges was unlike any part of the UK she'd visited before, in fact it was unlike anywhere in the world she'd visited before.

"It's beautiful Joe!" Dianne whispered, her eyes not knowing where to look next as she stumbled out of chippy.

"Not more beautiful than me I hope!" Joe chuckled, connecting the electricity to the van, and acclimatising to the environment. The campsite was beyond organised and each hired plot was at least 3 away from the next, so the couple had no neighbours.

"Nothing's more beautiful than my Joey!" Dianne exclaimed, her hand reaching to caress his cheek as the pair stood outside the van. Joe pressed his lips against the dancers softly before pulling away and clapping his hands which quickly found their place around Dianne's waste.

"Right team, let's get the bbq started and let's fetch some water!" Joe chuckled, his Clive impression ever more obvious.

"Clive, I didn't realise you were coming too?" Dianne joked, laughing loudly at her boyfriends facial expressions and leaning into him as he held her tighter still.

"Joseph couldn't drive all this way without some supervision now could he?"

"Seriously thanks for driving out here Joe, it's stunning!" Dianne said, her eyes distracted by the surroundings once more.

"Not as stunning as you my dear," Joe quickly chirped, he'd learned what to say when, to cheer the dancer up, "but yes, it's gorgeous, isn't it?"

"Just me, you and Mother Nature!" Dianne said, escaping Joe's grip and doing a quick spin in the field.

"I mean cringe but yeah, I guess!" Joe said, busying himself with the bbq.

"Dot, are these veggie patties alright?" Joe asked, looking at the limited range of food they'd managed to fit in Chippys fridge before leaving.

"Yeah, they look gorg, have we got another blanket?" Dianne asked, the northern cold breeze starting to take its toll on the Australian.

"Yeah, under the front seat there's loads, as soon as we've cooked these we can turn this into a campfire as well which should warm you up" He noticed the dancer shivering slightly in the door way of the van. "Hey if you're really struggling you can shut the door and turn the engine on for a bit?"

"No it's alright, I think I'll warm up when I've eaten."

"You're in luck me lady, dinner is served!" Joe joked, putting a plate on to his girlfriends lap along with a kiss to the forehead before graving his own plate and sitting next to her in the doorway.

"The stars are so bright here!" Dianne said, after the two had finished eating. The couple could now be found impossibly close under a blanket enlightened by a campfire. Dianne was sat perpendicular to Joe on his lap, her head tightly tucked under Joe's long neck, and her arms were connected comfortably around his back.

"I know, you forget in London, with how dim they are there."

"I loved the stars growing up, whenever I was walking back from parties or whatever, they made me feel safe!"

"I would say same, but I lived too far from my friends to ever have to walk back from a party!"

"It's nice to be out though, a bit of peace and quiet." Dianne mumbled, nuzzling her head further into Joe's neck.

"We came on a school trip here, when I was about 13 maybe."

"Really? I'd left school before we went on any trips."

"Do you ever regret it? Leaving school so early I mean?"

"Meh, maybe sometimes, because I loved the social side of school, but I was never into the academics, I don't think I'd have got anything else out of school if I'd stayed to be honest"

"Yeah, that makes sense, you look beautiful tonight Dot, I mean you always do, but tonight..."

Dianne cut him off with a soft kiss on his head, then his nose and finally their lips connected.

"I love you Joey, so so much, thank you for being so amazing in lockdown, I couldn't have done it without you!"

"I love you too! And honestly imagining the last few months without you, actually I don't want to! Shall we head to bed?" Joe asked, swallowing a lump that was forming in his throat and giving into the temptation to look his gorgeous girlfriend up and down.

"Joseph, you've never said anything better" Dianne exclaimed leaping out of the YouTubers arms almost directly into the single bed the backs seats had been converted to.

"Alright Dot, I'll just put the fire out!" Joe laughed, as he watched his girlfriend begin to remove her clothes, now apparently ignoring the cold draft.

"Wow it's a tight squeeze!"
