PROTIP: The book Yuuen was using to pry open the door is a remake of a classic 'Alice in Wonderland' book, but the main character was a guy and the story was very grim.

-=-=-=-

Yuuen's eyes widened as a few mysterious masked visitors busted open the door she'd worked so hard to open.

And despite the fact she'd never seen them in her life, they'd seemed so familiar.

And perhaps, even knew her.

"Y-y-...Yuuen!" They screamed in excitement enveloping her in a tight group hug as one of the most familiar, the brunette one, cried on her shoulder.

"Yuu-chan! I'm so glad you're ok!" She cried holding the shocked girl as it finally clicked.

"M-Mako-senpai...?" She questioned feebly still shocked at how Makoto was here of all people.

And her outfit. Well, that was another thing that she would have to address later.

And looking around everything began to click.

The blonde-haired boy with the skull mask had to have been Ryuji, and the cat-girl had to be Takamaki-san, the fox-like boy resembled Kitagawa-kun and the biker clinging to her shoulder was Makoto-senpai.

She still didn't know who the cat-like monster creature was...

And then her eyes settled on a familiar blackette, staring at her from a distance, still holding the door open.

"A-Akira..." She said softly, feeling an unusual feeling rush into her chest.

Soon the others let go, as to hold open the doors, and she was pulled into another hug, this one being more intimate than the last.

Her heart picked up its pace a bit as his grip on her tightened.

"I'm-....sorry I took so long." He apologized, not looking Yuuen in the face, keeping his head safely tucked into her shoulder.

"N-no... it's ok. You're here now, that's all that matters." She gave a light smile, patting him on the head a bit as her body relaxed in relief.

'He really came...' She realized before she felt her bottled up emotions finally begin to explode.

Within moments, she tightened her grip on Akira as she began sobbing onto Akira's shoulder.

"You're really here!" She cried feeling herself mentally relax as her body racked with sobs. "I'm so relieved!"

All the fear, doubt, and frustration flew out the window in that one moment as she soaked Akira's black jacket with tears.

Akira's eyes widened before softening on her fragile form.

"I'm here." He stated feeling quite relieved himself as he soothingly rubbed circles on the girl's back, allowing her to let it all out.

'She must have gone through so much here...' He noticed as she soaked his shirt, feeling quite guilty that he wasn't able to protect her for so long.

Without a word, he tightened his grip on her again, digging his face into her shoulder.

They stayed like that for a while, until Yuuen's sobs finally slowly down onto slow unsteady breaths.

Despite wanting to stay like that for longer, he pushed that thought aside as he began to stand up. Needing to continue the mission than stay locked up here.

Yuuen looked up at the boy oddly as she rubbed the remnants of tears from her puffy-red eyes.

"Come on." He gave a warm smile offering the girl a hand.
