Chapter 19

No one spoke for a couple of seconds.

"You know this woman?"

Said the guy who interrogated me.

"Leave us alone Xian"

Not even a single person questioned him. His order is immediately followed.

Pero hindi na yon mahalaga, What matters the most is the fact that Ivan is in here.

I felt the black cloth being moved up from my face, until I was able to see him.

And there he is, sitting right in front of me. Wearing a casual gray shirt that had showed his incredible ripped chest,  there for her eyes to feast. 
Nothing can explain how much I've missed him. How happy I am to see him again.

I gave him a smile.

"Ivan.."

He tucked my disheveled hair on my right ear.

"You haven't answered my question yet Adi"
He replied

"Oh, that? I just.... I just had an emergency at home kaya hindi na ako nakapag paalam sayo"

Umayos siya sa pagkaka upo at tinignan ako ng mataman. I gulped at the intensity of his gaze.

"You're lying"

Napa ngiwi nalang ako sa sinabi niya. I cant really hide anything from him. There's no point in lying

"Okay... I just, I ran into some sort of trouble kaya umuwi ako saamin. But you dont have to worry, its okay now"

I tried really hard to stay calm, I dont want him to get involved in this mess.  I'm intimidated by him, yes, but I cant risk it.

Lumapit siya sa akin.

"Adi. You know too well that I wont be contented with those explanations"

"Ivan naman. I just cant tell you the whole details right now. Sasabihin ko rin naman sayo lahat eh, when the right time comes"

I pleaded.

He gave out a sigh, still not taking his eyes off of me.
"Okay"

"Okay?" i mimicked.

"I respect you decision. But dont expect me to wait for too long"

"Kung ganon, okay na tayo? Pwede mo nabang tanggalin ang pagkakatali ng kamay ko?"

Pero instead na gawin niya ang sinasabi ko, he stared at me. Doing nothing, at all.

"On second thought, no. That'll be your punishment"

"Punishment!? Why? Diba sinabi ko naman ng hindi ako nag eespiya—"
Natahimik ako ,when I felt his full lips on mine. I instantly froze.

"Its your punishment for leaving me"

I licked my lips, getting really tempted by his kiss. "Can we postpone the punishment for later?"

He laughed at my suggestion.
He walked right behind me and whispered into my ears, making me shiver.
"I'm sure we can arrange that"

The moment na natanggal ang pagkakatali ng kamay ko, I immediately gave him a hug.

"I was so scared I'd never be able to see you again" Pag tatapat ko.

Hinagod niya ang buhok ko while assuring me that everything's okay.

Agad kong hinawakan ang magkabilang pisngi niya. Making sure na okay lang siya at sinusuri kung may senyales ba na he's not doing okay.
