Shems! Bakit ba ako nalagay sa ganitong sitwasyon? Para bang damn if you do, Damn if you dont!

Marami akong tanong tungkol sakanya, pero hindi niya yon sasagutin haggat hindi ko sinasagot ang tanong niya about JL, but doing so would put his life in danger. Buti sana kung hindi malaki at delikadong Mafia Organization ang binabangga nila JL.

Sa oras na nalaman niya ang sitwasyon ko at kung ano ang meron sa amin nila Mom, Dad and JL, he'll only get curious and ask for more explanations.
I don't think I can trust myself lying again when he stares at my eyes and asks for more.

God know's how much I hate lying and keeping secrets from him, but it's for his own sake. Hindi ko alam anh gagawin ko kung may mangyayaring masama sakanya. I can't loose him. Hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko pag nangyari yon.

"You seemed to have some deep thinking"

Napa igtad ako ng may magsalita sa gilid ko. Peor agad din naman akong kumalma nang mapagtantong si Rica lang pala.

Lumapit siya sa akin.

"You need not to worry Miss. I won't harm you"

Nginitian ko siya.  "I know"  tugon ko.
"I was just curious. Marami akong gustong itanong, pero alam ko namang walang gustong sumagot"

If there's one think I'm sure right now. I know from a fact na Rica and everyone in here is loyal to Ivan, so hindi rin nila ako sasagutin  kahit ano man ang itanong ko.

"I appologize Miss. But we can't say things Ivan forbids us to do so"

Did I hear it right?
"You called him 'Ivan' this time. Since the time I arrived here everyone calls him 'Boss' . Why?"

C'mon Rica. I'm dying to know your answer.

She sighed before she spoke.
"Lahat kami dito ay itinuturing siyang kaibigan Miss—"

"Adrianne, but you can just call me Adi. Hindi ako kumportable sa tawag niyo sakin eh"

Ngumiti siya, and this time, I can say that her smile is sincere.

"He was our leader"

"Was?"
Past tense?

"Yes, a great one. Lahat kami dito, we were once called and considered the 'rats on the streets' . Magnanakaw, basagulera at basagulero. But he changed us and helped us out. He's been our Leader for three years, until he decided to leave the Organization"

"Oraganization? What kind of Organization?"

Tinignan niya ako. Okay I get it. It's a secret again.

Nagpatuloy siya sa pagku-kwento.
"But he came back. Kahit alam naming temporary lang ang pag stay niya dito. We are grateful, and happy"
Umupo siya at tinitigan ang pool.

I stopped myself from talking, she will not answer me anyway.

"We want to thank you also, your're the reason why he came back"

But why me? Why has he came back in here and what has it got to do with me.

Dinaluhan ko siya sa pag upo.

"You love Ivan" she said. It isn't a question, it's a statement and so I didn't bother denying it.

Lumingon uli siya sa akin.

"You don't have to worry Adrianne. This Organization isn't illegal. Hindi kami mamamatay ng tao"
