A/N - It's so weird having no disclaimer...

Autumn's POV

I did eventually fall asleep...and even though Newt had had his arms around me, protecting me all night it didn't keep my mind from travelling to unwanted places. I would be back there, remembering new parts of the nightmare each time. A new room, a different crazed face, a pain in a place I didn't even know existed. How long would this last? I wanted to think it would just go away, but I knew better. I knew they would always be there, even if the occurrences lessened they would always be there.

So when I felt Newt retract his arms from around me in the morning I didn't pretend to sleep. I opened my eyes right up and watched as he left. He was showing the Greenie the window with the Griever. I had never gotten the courtesy to look through a glass window...I got to see one live, up close and personal. Lucky me...

No one was up yet, except me, Newt and probably Thomas by now. Not even the Runner's had to get up this early. I sighed, sat up and pushed the fuzzy blanket (that had managed to immigrate to Newt's bed) off of me. I was going to go raid Frypan's kitchen and no one was here to stop me! I crept through the Homestead...pausing before Minho's door. I believe I need a partner in crime. Placing my hands against the wooden door I shoved and the door swung inwards. I walked lightly on the  floor, stepping from heel to toe. I crossed the room to Minho's bed. He was asleep, mouth parted and snoring. I smiled down at the shank. He was just like a massive, sleeping, sarcastic baby. Ah...Minho's gonna hate me for this...

I licked my hand, a full on slobber and slapped his cheek. His eyes shot open, limbs flailing, words stuttering.

"What. The. Shuck." He stuck a hand on his cheek, pulling it away with a disgusted expression. I was almost in tears laughing...that was how great his reaction was. "Did you shucking lick my face?" He looked up at me, hand still outstretched as if waiting for an acceptable answer.

"Of course not," I replied dramatically, "I would never do such a disgusting thing." Minho raised his eyebrows and opened his mouth to retort but I cut him off, "No, I licked my hand and then rubbed it on your face." I took a step away from his bed and did a little bow, arm rolling included. He flung the blankets off his bed and stood up. Somehow already filled with energy.

"Autumn...." It was more of an exasperated groan-yell than anything else.  I was already out the door, Minho on my heels. I felt the early morning air whip against my skin, red hair trailing behind me like a fire. I felt the dew on the grass and the quietness of the Glade, there was nothing more than the odd 'moo' of a cow...well except Minho. Who was now yelling after me. I skidded to a halt in front of Frypan's kitchen, grabbed the door-frame and swung myself inside. Breathing heavy I pushed myself up so I was sitting on the counter when Minho entered. He immediately walked to the fridge. I didn't know what to think. In fact I think I was so caught up in thinking about not thinking that it came as a complete shock when a cold slab of meat smacked me across the face. My skin prickled but I laughed and picked up the fallen sandwich meat.

I moved not directly towards Minho but to block the entrance. Meat in hand and a menacing smile on my face I watched as Minho's predicament dawned on him. He shuffled backwards, trapped by the counter.

"Autumn...please don't. I'll make your lunch today," He offered, both arms raised in a surrender fashion.

"Hmmm," I stopped to "contemplate", hand on my chin. "Deal." He shook my hand. I threw the meat. I had to make my own lunch after all.

Nothing eventful had happened while I ran. Although it seemed that something very interesting had happened in the Glade. As soon as I was through the door I was being dragged by Newt. We ran together until we found Minho, who had also just got back from running.

"What's so shucking important Newt?" Minho asked him irritably, his face red. Whether that be from exertion or annoyance...the world will never know.

        "This is really buggin' important."

        "More than the maps?"

"Way more than the maps." Minho nodded in agreement and I let myself be dragged by Newt to the Homestead.

"Wait are you actually gonna tell us what the shuck happened?" I asked once we had gotten through the door to the Homestead.

"Just wait." He said anxiously, his blonde hair lay disheveled. Like he had run his hands through it a whole bunch of times. I smiled at the thought. Minho caught me smiling and raised and eyebrow. I used every ounce of willpower I had not to blush, so instead I stuck my tongue out at him and turned my head forwards once more. Newt took us to the hospital part of the Homestead.

"Whoa wait, did someone die?" I asked. Just getting the worst out of the way first...if someone had just gotten stung I doubt Newt would have prevented us from doing the maps first, so this was something really strange.

"Not yet..." He trailed off, unhooking his arm from mine and turning the doorknob. We all attempted to squeeze through the door at the same time, probably making us look like really curious kindergartners...just oversized and lanky and no where near as adorable. Inside the room was Jeff spooning some soupy stuff into a girl's mouth...

She lay unconscious on the bed. Her hair was so black, it could have blended into a shadow perfectly, her skin was perfectly polished porcelain; not a blemish in sight. Her eyes were closed and the rising of her chest meant she was alive. But another girl... Had she been sent up the Box? Like a normal person... Why was she unconscious? Questions ricocheted through my mind, each one touching on a different feeling; curiosity, potential jealousy, anger, sadness, worry, happiness. This girl lead to so many things...all of them incomprehensible.

"Came up the bloody box, we thought she was dead. Then she shucking sits up and says 'Everything is going to change' all creepy like. She was holding this shuck piece of paper too, said she was the last one ever. Now...well now we're not sure if she'll even live." Newt offered a brief explanation. Two greenies in two days? A note? How is everything going to change?

        "Dude." Minho spoke.

A/N - So guys...should Autumn and Teresa get along or nah? Cause I was just kind of planning for them to be cool with each other like okay you exsist...same here. But nothing really dramatic but idk???
