"I want to talk to you."

This one message made his lips curve into a smile. A feeling of happiness, of joy was exploded in his body and heart. He was at home fully frustrated as naina was ignoring him for the last 2 weeks. He tried very much, very hard to make her smile, to make her happy, to make her believe in him. But every thing was in vain, till this message popped out in his mobile.

Tring!!!!! Tring!!!!

Naina and preeti looked at the door and then at each other. Preeti nodded and naina went to open the door. Sameer was panting as he ran up the stairs till naina's house and saw naina opening the door. A wide smile appeared on his face to which naina responded with a small one. She gestured him to get in and sameer walked inside. When naina went in the kitchen to get water sameer asked preeti through gestures.that what happened but she just passed him a smile and nodded.  Naina came with a glass of water and sameer thanked her.

Preeti: naina bol.

Naina: main.....maina kya bolu??

Preeti: kuch nahi bolna toh kyu bulaya isse?? Sameer tum jao, naina ko kuch nahi bolna.

Naina:nahi!!! Mera matlab hai bolna hai, (to preeti) tu....tu jana, tujhe der nahi ho rahi.

Preeti: acha ji toh mere saamne nahi bolna?? Pehle hi bata deti na, main jaldi chali jaati.

Naina: ab tu behes mat kar aur jaa.

Preeti: jaa rahi hu meri maa, bag toh lene de.

Preeti took her bag and left. There was an awkward silence in the house. None of them were looking at each other.

Sameer: tumhe kuch kehna tha??

Naina: haa...matlab...main...actually uss din ke liye sorry, mujhe aise bartav nahi karna chahiye tha. Ho sake toh maaf kardo.

Sameer:( smiling) its ok naina, aur tumhe sorry kehne ki zarurat nahi hai. Tumhare jagah agar main hota toh shayad main bhi aise hi karta. Preeti ne mujhe sab bata diya tha.

Naina: preeti ne mujhe bhi sab bata diya.

Sameer:kya???

Naina: yahi ki....ki tum mujhse....aa.... sameer main tumse shayad hi kabhi pyar kar paungi mujhe..dar lagta hai, tumhe sab pata hi hai. Toh bas...

Sameer: naina, main janta hu ki tum mujhse pyar nahi karti. Jab maine tumse pyar kiya tha tab maine aisi koi aasha rakhi bhi nahi thi ki tum mujhse pyar karogi. Maain tumse koi jabardasti nahi karna chahta. Bas chahta hu ki tum mujhe apna dost mano, fir woh chahe 3 am friend ho toh bhu chalega.

Naina smiled and said
Naina: thanks...mujhe samajhne ke liye.

Sameer: madam, dosti mein no sorry no thank you. 

Naina smiled and sameer was relieved that the smile that was vanished because of him is again on her face, because of him.

Sameer: naina kahi bahar chale??

Naina: ahh.....actually mujhe abhi tak khana banana hai aur sab customers ko lunchboxes bhi dene hai toh....sorry.

Sameer: aree its ok, no problem...par ek baat puchun?

Naina: ha puchun.

Sameer:main bhi tumhari help karu?? I mean cooking mein, mujhe bhi khana banana aata hai.

Naina: aahh....pakka na, warna mere saare customers bhaag jayenge.

Sameer: haa baba pakka.

Naina: thik hai.
