*I’ll get straight to the point with this author’s note; there is some wild shit happening all over the world right now with COVID 19. Asthma and I have been life long partners and I suspect we are going to be together for the rest of my life so I am quarantining myself in my house because a respiratory virus like COVID 19 could kill me. Also, I am a senior in high school in America; so all of those high school movies centered around prom, pep rallies, plays, and graduation were a part of my senior spring then school abruptly ended and I don’t know what’s next and it's stressing me out. My IB exams were canceled and within the next twenty four hours I should know how that will impact my diploma (if I earn it or not). I know there are more important things in the world than me earning an extra piece of paper or finally getting a part in a play; this virus is serious and I hope everyone is doing their part and taking the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their community. Please remember that people are dying and medical systems all around the world are being overrun by something we never anticipated. Be thankful for your health, remember to thoroughly wash your fucking hands, if you are showing sypmtoms stay home to stop the spread.

What does this have to do with this story? Well when I don’t know what to do I write and then nitpick it to death because I have the time to then I slowly spiral into a pit of shame until I delete everything and start over. I’m working on not that and I’m going to post more but I need to work past my own criticism. I don’t have a creative pun to say that JK Rowling has more writing ability in her little finger than I do in all of mine so I’ll just say that she invented the Harry Potter franchise.*

***What do you want to see in the Epilogues? I'm writing one for each of the Granger Malfoy children so if you guys want a spin off, say the word.***

Hermione Granger Malfoy was uncomfortable. She was wrapped tightly in a fluffy dressing gown staring at her massive array of clothes she somehow accumulated over the last few years. Even though there was an assortment of garments ranging from colorful patterned robes to floor length gowns, Hermione could not find suitable clothes for the Ministry. She swore she owned less provocative items of clothing but apparently the witch was wrong. Everything was a bit too snug and highlighted her bump. With t minus twenty two weeks until her due date, Hermione was struggling to come up with creative ways to hide her growing stomach from the media.

The Granger Malfoy couple was among the last of the high profile couples to bare a child. So, the daily Prophet made it their mission to catch a photo of one of Hermione’s growing stomach or one of them clutching a newborn. Hermione found the constant media attention rather annoying and it nearly drove her mad. She could hardly take a few steps through Diagon Alley before a vulture took sight of her and she knew as soon as the new Granger Malfoy baby was discovered by the media, the cameras and inconvenience would multiply tenfold.

The young witch wanted to prolong the discovery for as long as possible but her work trousers no longer fit and she could only wear robes so many days in a row before the press got suspicious. It was only getting exceedingly harder to hide her bump and the brightest witch of her age was running out of ideas.
Hermione ground and looked away from the rows of colorful clothes.

“What’s got your knickers in a twist?” Draco said, entering their large and excessive closet. Draco gently wrapped his arms around his wife’s waist and rested his head on her shoulder.

“Well, the fact that my clothing makes me look like a beluga whale could be a reason,” Hermione said with a frustrated sigh.

Draco pointed to a form fitting blue dress, “What about that one? It’s stretchy and it makes your legs look fantastic.”

“We need to hide the fact that I look like I swallowed a watermelon, not embrace it.”

Draco laughed, “You’re hardly showing for a woman halfway through her second trimester. You look like you swallowed a grapefruit, not a watermelon; and you can trust me with that because I am a trained healer so I am well versed in the wonderful processes of the human body.”
