Monique's POV

The Mad Hatter, March Hare and I spent the afternoon chatting about Wonderland. They were like tourist guides without taking me to places but above all of that, they were entertaining.

The tea has just the right taste (it tasted like milk) and I have never tasted a cake so sweet and delicious. The Hatter also teached me how to move in the air with the chair I am sitting on. He told me I was a fast learner.

We were already in our nth slice of cake. The cake itself is almost melting away, digested by our stomachs. "Mr. Hatter, Mister Hare, this tea party is as lovely as it is. The tea and cake was perfect. Thank you very much for making me a part of this."

The Hatter chuckled, flattered. "You are welcome, dear Monique. More cake?" I waved my hand politely. "No thanks, but I appreciate your offer. I think I will have more tea." I said.

The teapot floated towards me and poured me another round. By the time the pot returned to its place on the table, we heard calls down below. I didn't look. I was too indulged in this carefree party.

"Hatter! Hare!" Someone shouted. I recognized the voice as Alice's but again, they would not care even a pinch. I sipped my tea and finished up my slice of cake.

The Hatter looked down at Alice. "My Queen! Would you like to join the tea party? We have a lovely visitor!" He exclaimed kindly.

"Monique, is that you?!" I almost spat out my drink when I heard Haechan's voice. I wiped my mouth with my table napkin and looked down. "What?"

Haechan has his hands over his mouth. "Get down from there!" I whined and rocked my legs back and forth. "I don't want to! And why do you care? You should have just chatted with your Alice the whole afternoon while I mind my own business with the Hatter!"

He folded his arms and looked at me intently. "Monique, get down from there or I will get you myself." The Hatter laughed because of his remark. "Impossible, boy!"

I burped and immediately muttered excuses to my companions. I felt like I was drunk, but in a good way. "I was trying to get y'all's attention but you two keep on talking like I don't freaking exist!" I hiccuped. "I'm surprised you two didn't get a room yet."

I saw Alice blush and Haechan disappointed. "Monique, let's talk this out." He insisted. I scoffed and turned my back on him. "Hah! Talk to your ass with parasite issues." I drank my tea again.

I let out a shriek when I saw Haechan in my left side. He knocked me off the chair and carried me down. When he landed on the ground, I jumped down from his arms and pushed him away.

"Why do you care?! Ever since we arrived in Wonderland, you've been flirting with the Queen! I felt so useless and lonely and they're the only friends that I could talk to at the moment!" I shouted and pointed up to the Hatter and the Hare.

"She's drunk, let her be." I heard Alice whisper. I turned to her. "I'm not drunk!" I looked back at Haechan. "If that is what all you can do here - bring me and make me wander off by myself - then maybe I should just travel alone!"

"Monique, it's not like that! Let me explain!" I walked away from him and Alice. "Shut up. I don't want to hear it." I burped again but I didn't say an excuse.

"Are you jealous?"

I turned to him and put a strand of hair behind my ear. I hiccuped again. "Pardon?" He smirked. "Are you jealous that I keep on talking with Alice?" He asked again teasingly.

I glared at him. "Think about it. Who needs more help? A queen, whose life is already on its path, or a lost girl who is still finding her way out of misery and depression?" I plodded my way out of there.
