"Ugh, fuck off!" I snapped at the alarm tone that brought my phone to life the next morning at nine am.

Getting up at nine am to be at the gym by ten usually isn't a problem for me. But after last night, with Calum only leaving just after two am, my alarm clock was proving to be a huge problem.

I groaned as I grabbed my phone off the bedside table and swiped across the screen to switch the alarm off.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me!" I sighed as I realised that my phone wasn't connected to the charger. I must have forgotten to put it on charge last night and now I was sitting with just under thirty percent battery.

"Fantastic," I muttered as I got out of bed and then began pulling the covers straight.

After my bed was made, I shuffled into the kitchen to make some coffee and breakfast. While my coffee was brewing, I munched on my toast and sent a message through to Kayli.

Morning, Kay! You feeling alright today? x
09:17

She responded almost immediately.

My head is broken. Once again I've learned that tequila is not my friend
09:18

Shame, boo! Eat plenty of toast and paracetamol should help the headache
09:20

Paracetamol is not in short supply, my friend. And Kane's being a perfect angel and getting me pancakes from Ihop so I should be good :)
09:22

Ah, boyfriend perks I see
09:22

Speaking of boyfriends, were you and Calum good last night?
09:23

How did you arrive on the topic of me and Calum deriving from boyfriends?
09:25

Hang on, I'm gonna call you
09:25

Not even five seconds later my phone was ringing with a WhatsApp call.

"There may not be a lot from last night that I remember but my ship of you and Cal is definitely something I do."

"Good morning to you too, Kayli," I giggled as I walked over to the coffee machine and pulled my coffee mug from it.

"Babe, I was being for real though. You and Cal would be mad cute together."

"Okay, first of all, I barely know the guy. And secondly, I'm pretty sure neither of us is looking for anything more with each other," I said to my friend.

"You'll get to know each other and once you do you'll fall madly in love and be hella adorable together!"

I couldn't help but laugh at Kayli's montaging.

"Okay, Kay. If you say so."

"Trust me, I know what I'm talking about."

"I'm sure you do, girl," I laughed.

"Okay, let me get going because the boyfriend is home and I am very excited about those pancakes."

"Enjoy them," I chuckled. "See you on Monday."

"See ya, B. Love you!"

The call was ended before I could respond.

After finishing my coffee, I washed the dishes I had used before going back into my room to change into a pair of training leggings and a tank top. I didn't bother with showering because I'd be able to do that after my workout. After packing in a change of clothes into my gym bag as well as some makeup, I quickly put my charger into my handbag and then made sure I had everything that I needed before leaving my apartment.
