"How many times do I have to tell you? My dad won't let me leave the house, I'm basically quarantined like there's a virus going around or something," I scoff, rolling my eyes.

"Bruh that ain't fair! There can't be a party without my bestie there with me, bro," I could practically hear her pout. I smile while staring at the ceiling.

"He can't keep you there forever! School?!"

"You know my dad. He'll probably get my work, look I don't know but I can't leave the house this weekend," Dylan whined.

"How about I come over?" She suggested.

"That could work."

"Be there in an hour!"

Before I could say something, she hung up.

I groaned and clicked on Disney plus on my tv.

Today is a new week and I've been quarantined by my dad. He let me go to school but after, he'd pick me up. So I couldn't drive my car to school like I've been dying to for the last past summer. It's stupid.

But I get it. He doesn't want anything happening to me because those guys are still on the loose and he doesn't wanna take any chances again. Not again.

But I can't stay in this house forever!

I miss my friends even though I've seen them at school but still. Scrolling through my watch list, I decided on watching the live-action lion king.

Before clicking play, I thought about food and suddenly got hungry. I whined when I realized I had to go all the way downstairs and into the kitchen.

I honestly wish I was elongated man right now.

Ou, maybe I should watch the flash instead.

"Blair?!" I heard my dad call, followed by the front door slamming shut.

I sighed before getting up, stretching my limbs and walking all the way downstairs looking depressed.

As I stopped in the living room, I saw my dad.

He had his work uniform on and I sighed.

"Hey, kiddo," He smiled when he saw me.

I folded my arms as he kissed my head.

"Dad, I'm bored. When can I go back outside?" I whined.

He sighed in defeat, knowing I wasn't going to stop asking until he gave me the right answer. "Monday."

"Really?" I smiled.

"Sure why not?" He said hesitantly.

"Yay! Oh, and can Dylan and I have a sleepover? I mean, since I'm not allowed to leave the house."

"If her parents are okay with it, yeah."
