⇾ twenty one

"my feet hurt so bad." vanessa whined, julian and her entering the hotel room.

they set the bags down on the small kitchen island, both heading to their respective beds that were a little farther inside the hotel room.

"i can't believe we were there for 4 hours, we literally only went to 3 different stores." julian replied, laying down in his bed.

"it was a pretty huge mall." vanessa laughed, a knock interrupting their conversation.

julian looked over to vanessa. "are you expecting someone?" julian asked.

"i was about to ask you the same thing." she replied, before getting up from her bed and walking over to the door.

she opened the door to see crawford and corey standing on the other side, corey's fist up in the air seeming like he was about to knock on the door again.

"oh, hey crawford and corey." vanessa greeted, letting them into the room. the guys smiled and entered, followed further into the room by vanessa.

"hey guys, hope we're not imposing." crawford said as he did a weird handshake with julian, corey doing the same one a moment after.

"of course not, just unexpected." vanessa replied, taking a seat on her bed once again. she noticed corey and crawford each held a bag in their hands.

"what's in the bags?" julian asked, also noticing them.

"we brought snacks." corey replied, taking a seat on julian's bed. "kian texted me about the situation." crawford said, making vanessa nod.

"right, about us not being able to make it." she said.

crawford nodded before speaking again. "i was going to head out alone but kian told me that you and julian would be here, so corey and i decided to bring the movies to you." he explained, a couple movie boxes in his hand.

"that's really sweet of you guys but you didn't have to. it's like 9pm." vanessa replied, accepting the sour patch kids corey was handing over to her.

"it's no problem, we didn't have major plans anyway." corey said, making himself comfortable on julian's bed.

"i think it's great you guys are here, i've been bored all day." julian said, vanessa giving him a shocked expression.

"excuse me, we've been hanging out all day." vanessa replied, offended by her supposed best friend.

"yeah, i know." julian replied, making everyone laugh, excluding vanessa.

vanessa rolled her eyes, before grabbing the movies from crawford. she looked through them, slightly surprised by his choices, most of them being disney movies.

crawford noticed her facial expressions, making him chuckle. "kian said you were into disney movies, so i brought some of my favorites."

she nodded, picking cars from the stack and putting it into the dvd player that was connected to the hotel room tv.

"i knew you were going to choose that one." julian announced as vanessa made her way back to her bed. corey rolled his eyes. "the movie is starting, can you please shush?" corey questioned, half jokingly towards julian.

crawford laughed at corey, vanessa noticing he was still standing on the other side of the room.
"you can sit." vanesa whispered to crawford, not wanting to disturb corey. she pointed to the spot next to her on the bed as he smiled politely and accepted the offer.

"thanks." he whispered back.

she nodded as they both turned their attention back to the movie. everyone was silently watching, the only noise filling the room being julian and corey happily munching on the doritos the boys had brought.
