"merry christmas!" vanessa greeted crawford, her and julian entering his car. "merry christmas to you guys too." crawford replied, pulling away from the hotel entrance.
"thanks for giving us a ride, you're really saving us the hassle." julian said from the backseat. "no problem, glad i could be of service." crawford replied.
"you guys get anything for each other?" crawford asked, making conversation to outlast the drive to jc's house.
"not exactly. we completely forgot it was christmas with everything going on." vanessa replied, playing with the gift bags at her feet.
"but we have things back in new york for each other. we're just going to do christmas gift openings back at home with our friends." julian said, picking up where vanessa had left off.
"what about you? have you gotten anything yet?" vanessa asked.
crawford shook his head. "usually i spend christmas with my family back in canada but this year we decided to do christmas on thanksgiving since everyone had plans." he explained.
"well, if it's any consolation, julian and i got a little something for everyone, including you." vanessa said, holding up the gift bags in her hands.
the bags varied in sizes and colors, all holding something different for their new friends. "wow, you've thought of everyone and you guys haven't even been here for a week." crawford laughed.
