"kian, you can't just show up and think she's gonna forgive you on the spot. sure, it's romantic and girls love romance, but come on, you hurt her pretty bad." jc explained, taking kian's clothes out of his suitcase.
kian rolled his eyes as he began to shove his clothes back into the suitcase. jc sighed before taking his clothes out again, only making kian throw it back in. they went on in this routine for another minute before kian slapped his hand away.
"stop!"
"no, kian, as your best friend, i'm supposed to stop you from making things worse."
"no, as my best friend, you're supposed to be helping me get my girl back." kian said, this time zipping up the suitcase with all his clothes inside.
jc sighed before taking the suitcase out of his hands.
"are you sure? you truly believe she's the one?" jc asked.
kian's face faltered at the sudden question, allowing himself to really think. a few moments went by and he nodded his head.
"i don't think i've ever felt this way about anyone, ever. i truly believe that she is the one. the endless phone calls and text messages, even with the time difference and her annoyed attitude, i could see her smile and know that it was all an act. i know that she looked forward to my text and calls. that's all i need to know to tell me that i need to fight for her." kian explained, a look of realization coming onto both of their faces.
"kian, i think-"
"yeah, i think so, too."
"well, what are we waiting for? new york is waiting for k and j." jc said, handing kian his suitcase.
