Roman is the son of the Goddess Aphrodite. Originally attracted to females, he turned off girls after he found they treated him similar to an object - fighting over him, arguing for him and they always tried to keep him with them at all times. He found that boys didn't do the same.
Roman has always been looked down on by other Gods. Why? Because he was born from an affair. His mother had a 'one night stand' with Ares, God of War. Now he has to fight twice as hard to prove he isn't like his mother.
His friendships with anyone other then Patton and Logan don't last long - despite this, he looks and looks for new friendships all the time.

Roman isn't a full God yet: his body can't house the power of his mother and father. Instead, it's contained in a small, black choker around his neck with a fancy 'R' attached to it.
This choker houses at least 82% of his power which he can unleash any time he needs it. The other 16% stays with him completely, making him immortal, strong and far too attractive.
