"Hey, are you even taking this seriously? See? I win again. I'm kind enough to play with you once every month, yet you fail to improve whatsoever, Pixis" Lord Balto boast

'It's because you're a noble, besides it will ruin your name if I always win on this game'

"I'm still far below your level, Lord Balto" I said feeling ashamed though hiding the fact that I just let him win

"Hahahaha" Lord Balto laugh feeling so proud of himself while drinking his champagne

"I'm still far from reaching your level, Lord Balto" He mocked repeating what I say earlier

"You're the commander in charge of the Southern District!How do you expect to win against the Titans with those skills and smarts?" Lord Balto ask curiously

"Commander Pixis!" Someone called my name

A cadet made an appearance right in front of the door

"We just got a word!" A cadet said

"What's the meaning of this outra-" Lord Balto's words cutt off when a cadet continue what he's about to say

"The Colossal Titan just attacked Trost!"

'W-what that Titan made an appearance again after five years?
Sergeant where are you now? Are you still on your mission outside the walls?'

"The gate has been breached!"

I let go my wine glass causing it to shatter into pieces on the floor. Lord Balto's forehead is already sweating from what he hear. I grab a whiskey from the table and drink it to calm me down

"This booze is truly top-shelf. As your fellow on the battlefield, I humbly accept it" Then I left my seat,  soon the elite's bow their heads to Lord Balto and follow me

"Hey!Wait, Pixis!" Lord Balto called out
but I ignored him and continue on leaving

"Pixis! I said wait! You can't just leave!" Lord Balto said while chasing me followed by his assistant

"Gather your men and focus on defending my property! That's your duty, isn't it?!"

' Sergeant's right they're not ashamed of themselves,and defending your property? Fool. Our duty is to protect civilians inside this walls from Titans'

I stop on my tracks then face him

"Lord Balto, right now soldiers are putting their lives on the line in Trost" I start

"Commander, I'll ready your horse"
A squad leader says  then left

"Many of them have probably died already, even at this moment while we speak" I say sternly

"Who cares about their lives? Just let them die!"

'You.... Now you're showing you're true colors huh, You think our lives is just a trash'

"Not to mention, you can't even win on the board!" Lord Balto insult

'I just let you win, while you're proud of it'

"Going there yourself would change nothing!" Lord Balto added

"Please, don't worry, Your Grace" Another Squad Leader butt in

"On the battlefield against Titans, the Commander has no need to hold back"
