Multiple explosions can be heard behind them as they still continue on riding their horses.

"Advance a bit farther, tether the horses, and switch to Maneuver Gear. You guys will be off on your own for a while." Levi said "Eldo lead the squad. Once you're a good distance away from the Titan,  hide Eren. Take my horse"

But before Levi left, he look at Mary. They continue their eye contact for a second then Levi left on his Maneuver Gear.

'Why did he look at me like that?' Mary thought then her cheeks begin to heat up

Eld caught Mary in a blushing mess so gave he gave her a teasing glare. Mary give Eld a glare meaning 'shut up'.

"He can't intend to take that Titan alive?" Eren said then look at Petra

"Well,  Eren? See that? We caught that Titan!" Gunther said

"This is the power of the Survey Corps! Don't underestimate us, fool. Well? Do you get it now?" Oluo said

"Yes!" Eren answer happily

Silence filled them and only the hooves of horses can be heard. Then Oluo and Mary can hear Eren mutter to himself.

"Hey! Snap out of it!" Oluo shouts at Eren

"Eren,  think later." Petra said "We need to get farther in and stand by!"

"Right!"

Time skip

"That was his plan from the very start! Right? I can see why he wouldn't have told the new troops. But why wouldn't he tell you when you've all been with the Survey Corps for so long?" Eren ask

"Shut up!" Oluo spat

"Are you saying the Commander and the Captain don't trust us?" Petra ask loudly

"But that's what this means... "

"Petra, rip out his teeth! Swap the front and back teeth when you shove 'em back in" Oluo said with anger

"No,  Eren's right. I think there was a reason the Commander couldn't trust us. But I am more interested on why Commander choose to inform Mary when she's a new recruit." Eld said then look at Mary who's been silent the whole time on the other branch

"Now that you mention it, I'm also thinking Mary has been informed" Eren said

"Hm? To tell you all,  actually Commander didn't inform me. I just start start my speculation and hunch since the battle in Trost. Remember,  I'm also one of witnesses back in Shiganshina. And I also solve the mystery behind Commander's odd question" Mary explain

"I see"

'Way to go making up some stories. Hihihi! I'm really a great actress'Mary thought

"Like what Eld? What are the reasons? " Gunther ask

"There's only one reason he wouldn't trust his fellow soldiers." Eld said

"Actually there is two. Someone is able to transform into a Titan and maybe there is a spy here that is helping them" Mary said darkly
