Chapter 3: Impressing The Old Wizard

"I would like you to introduce me to the headmaster of Beacon Academy, Professor Ozpin"

"Kid, your luck never seems to run out"

"Why is that?", I asked, already knowing the answer

"He's here at this moment, he wanted to talk to the girl in red that helped during the arrestation"

"Oh, lucky me, so... Can you please ask him if he has the time?"

"I'll try, but I can't promise anything"

"I know a way to assure he will want to meet me... "

(3rd POV)

You follow him to the interrogation room, and as the officer enters, you see the girl, the myth, the legend, Ruby Rose walking out of the room, as you make eye contact with her, you thought:"She's less cute that I thought... Well, it's not that I like her anyway..."

She then gives you a little worried face, making you notice your staring at her a bit to much, so to immediately break the awkwardness, you begin the conversation

"Hello, I believe you are the girl that knocked down 4 men in less than 30 seconds before the intervention of the police"

"Huuh... Yes, but that was nothing, they were just small fries, haha" she said, laughing nervously, looking like she didn't know how to handle the compliment

"Well you did a good job, you should be proud of yourself, anyway, my name's y/n l/n, just a random guy, a pleasure to meet you" you said, making an gentle nod and smile, as to make an little reverence

"I'm Ruby Rose! Huntress in training!"

"Well miss Rose, I have someone to see, so, see you next time"

"See ya!"

You then heard a :"WHAT?!?!", and you smirked as you knew from who it came

Meanwhile, in the interrogation room

Glynda: You need to stop doing this things, you can't just grab all good at combat kids you see, she's 15!

Ozpin: You heard her, she want to become a huntress, why not giving her the chance, and you know who her mother was, she as her silver eyes

Glynda: That's not...!

She's interrupted by officer Gordon, who enters the room

Officer Gordon: "Professor Ozpin, I have someone here that wishes to talk to you" he was obviously not at ease, making a request to the headmaster of the Beacon Academy

Ozpin: Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now, so tell them I'll talk to him later

Officer Gordon, clearly fearing what will come next: "He said that if you refused, I should tell you the two following words : Mama Grimm. End of quote, he said you'd understand"

Glynda: WHAT?!?!

Ozpin: Bring them, and close the door

Officer: Yes

You see Officer Gordon getting out of the room, he looks at you, quite angry

"Well I hope you got this, because I can't guarantee your safety in this room"

y/n: Don't worry, it's just a bad joke

Officer Gordon: I hope it is

You then enter the room, and you hear the soundproof door closing

Miss Goodwitch takes her 'wand' and points at you with it

Ozpin : Calm down Glynda, diplomacy first, so, what's your name?

"Well hello mister l/n, can you tell me where you heard those two words, and who told them?"

"I didn't hear those words, it's a little joke I came up with myself"

"While I do admit it may be funny from an exterior point of view, the meaning behind those word is bigger than you may understand"

"If your talking about the fact that it refere to an thousands years old witch, who is the maker of all grimms, and trying to destroy humanity, I think I understand it good enough, I just think it's good to laugh of every thing"

Glynda: You're insane!

"Says the woman who works under the ex of Salem"

Glynda then looks at you, in complete disbelief, and then at Ozpin, who is clearly red of anger, and that's where you think you got too far, but then he quickly regains his calm

"Enough with the bad jokes, mister l/n"

"Sorry, I couldn't contain myself, I just don't like when someone calls me insane"

"If you understand then it's fine, so miss Goodwitch, could you please let us alone for a moment?"

Glynda, looks at him, angry, and storms out of the room

"Now, tell me, who are you, and what do you want?"
