My eyes felt heavy as I slowly opened them. My vision was blurry and I proceeded to blink to clear it. I was met with the sight of a very beautiful room.
The ceiling had a galaxy design that looked perfect down to the last star, this design seemed to drip onto the other walls before transitioning to (F/C). I could see faint traces of Gallifreyan close to the gold outlines. I was speechless, never in all my life have I ever had a room this glamorous, with elegant chests and draws in ideal places they held necessities along with small reminders of home (the good parts) and replicas of all I had collected or things I enjoyed (you can basically imagine what you want around the room and where) .
It took me a while, but as I sat up I noticed my name, both human and given, above my bed once again in Gallifreyan.
There also seemed to be a number of added doors to my room. As I got up to explore, I soon discovered that one was a fairly large walk in wardrobe full of clothes and night wear that was to my unique taste. Another door lead to a decent sized bathroom that fit me perfectly. I didn't need an overly extravagant bathroom with all the most modern stuff, just a bath/shower, sink, storage space and a toilet, obviously.
The last door ,however, I seemed almost attracted to and as I went to open it the door wouldn't budge. I furrow my eyes brows and try again, this time a hum of the Tardis stops me.
Apparently the room is not finished.
"Ok ok, I get it. Thanks by the way, this is by far the best room I have ever seen." I compliment whilst placing a hand on the wall.
A happy hum is my response and I can't help but let out a small laugh.
"You're welcome."
I look at the time and see it's only 5:12 am. I couldn't believe it, I got more than an hours sleep, it's been years since I have felt so refreshed. I smile and decide to get ready for the day.
Starting with a shower after I had picked out my clothes that completely covered me.
The warm water felt nice on my scarred skin as I recall the events of last night. I had cried myself to sleep on the Doctor's arms, how humiliating, but I must admit I now feel as if a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel so free, much better than before when I felt almost guilty for keeping my past a secret.
With my shower done, hair dry and clothes on it was now 5:33. Not bad.
'Might as well go and look for the Doctor. And some food.'
Walking out of my room I roam the many twists and turns of the corridors to eventually find myself at the control room.
I could see the Doctor messing with something on the console, so I walked to the captains chair, sat down and decided to make my presence known.
"Morning." My voice was cheerful for once.
He looks up and smiles, noticing my positive mood
"Morning. So how are you feeling? Sleep alright?"
"I am feeeling good, fantastic even. Best sleep I have had in a while." The Doctor's smile seemed to grow as did mine.
"I feel as if a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I noticed that the bond we have made me feel guilty for not explaining.. you know stuff.... thanks for that by the way, listening I mean." My voice trailed off as I begin to feel awkward talking about my emotions again.
I hear the Doctor chuckle out a no problem before he speaks up.
"Follow me then."
"Where we going?"
"The kitchen, it is time for breakfast, you need to eat."
I walk along side the Doctor in a comfortable silence on the way to the kitchen, realising how hungry I am.
When we arrived I am told to sit and relax ready for my "surprise" breakfast, as the Doctor calls it.

About 10 minutes later, and the Doctor making a rather large mess, I am presented with pancakes and sliced fruit. It was delicious and whilst I ate me and the Doctor had a normal conversation, well to us it was, about you know normal things: time, space, the mechanics of the Tardis. Totally normal.
Rose and Jack soon came into the room one by one a few hours later and we started discussing what we were gonna go.
"We need to spend a day or so in Cardiff before we go anywhere big." The Doctor explains.
Rose questions the Doctor's decision and he gave me a look.
The Doctor seems to be testing me and my knowledge of the universe, mainly earth, so he knows where there are gaps in my knowledge for him to then teach me, as I never went to the academy.
"We are basically refuelling. Due to the rift in Cardiff, healed in 1869 by Gwyneth, left a scar that generates energy harmless to humans, but we can use it to refuel the Tardis." I finish my simple explanation and look to the Doctor.
"That's the overall gist of it, correct?" I ask
"Yeah, basically."
We all continues to talk about random stuff and made our way to the console room, where Rose has to make a call once we had landed. I was told she was calling her boyfriend Mickey or Ricky as the Doctor calls him.
If I'm completely honest, from what I am told, I am not the biggest fan of Ricky the idiot and I am nervous about meeting him as he wasn't the most welcoming to the Doctor. No matter how much Rose tries to explain how much of a good guy he is, I'm not gonna trust him straight away.

Anyway, I'm the console room me and the Doctor decided to do some repairs. I took the ones under the console and the Doctor was messing about near the wall on the second level , whilst Rose and Jack talked a bit.
Me and the Doctor had our own telepathic conversation, which startled me almost causing me to hit my head on the underside of the console.
'Sorry about that, didn't mean to startle you.' He started. 'I couldn't help but notice you seem a bit nervous.'
'No need to apologise, I just need to get use to the whole being connected and not... alone you could say.'
'No need to worry, you'll get the hang of it in no time, dot.'
I stop what I was doing and looked up at the Doctor, confused.
'Dot?'
'Yeah dot, it's a nickname, a fantastic one at that if I do say so myself because you're small.'
I could practically feel the Doctor's smirk and when o then saw it I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. The thought of having this nickname, no matter how ridiculous, made me feel all happy and giddy, it was strange to say the least.
'Well I'll have to agree with you there, not the worst name you could have picked.'
We could practically feel wave after wave of happiness coming from each other, all thoughts and worries about Mickey were gone.
Continuing with my mindless tinkering I realise how the Doctor managed to clear my mind with ease and was in awe of how relax I have been feeling.

This was the start of my new life, free of the worries and dangers that have haunted me for years. I welcome the new threats into my life as at the first sign of them, with my new family by my side, I could grab their hands and we would run.
No more mindless fighting and violence. Only running and the need to at times save the Earth. I was fine with that.

Finishing my task at the console I got up and looked around:
The sight of Rose and Jack goofing around made me laugh.
The sight of the Doctor failing at doing whatever task he was trying to fulfil, made me smile a genuine smile.
The sight of the Tardis and how she would brighten her lights, humming softly at the realisation I was admiring her made me feel free.

I let out a gentle sigh with a smile.
'I could get use to thi-'
I was interrupted from my thoughts as there was rapid knocking at the door.
My previous fear and worry seems to have crept up on me.

Jack quickly answers the door.....

Aaannnd done.
