Chapter 6: Dinner

Angie's POV
"What?" I said "I'll have to get ready then"

"Johny is on the bathroom" my mom said as I groaned "you might as well wait, he won't take long don't worry" I sighed "hey see on the positive side you can help me bake the cake on the mean time"

"Mom I don't know how to cook you know that" I said smiling

"Well it is time to learn, you'll have to cook for your kids and your husband some day" my mom said as I laughed

"Definitely not me he's gonna be the one to cook and to be honest if he doesn't cook I don't want him" I said laughing

John got out of the bathroom

"He finally got out of the bathroom" Aj said getting up from the couch

I stared at him and he stared back and we both started running towards the bathroom, I got there first and closed the door

"Oh come on" he screamed as I laughed and locked the door

I took a shower and got to my bedroom, I putted on flannel shirt with some jeans

I got upstairs as someone knocked on the door

My mom and my dad quickly got to the door and all of my siblings were there with smiles on their faces

My mom opened the door reviling the Lafayette's

"Adrienne" my mom said hugging aunt Adri as she hugged back

"Eliza, it's been so long" aunt Adri said

My dad and uncle Laf hugged

Georges stared at me and smiled, I smiled back as Aj gave me a smug smile

"Shut up" I said to Aj as he laughed

They got into our house and we all said our hi's

"Shall we seat?" My mom said as we all nodded and sat down

"This dinner's so good you really shouldn't have Eliza" Uncle Laf said

"Ow stop of course I would you guys just got back" my mom said smiling

After we all finished we asked to get out of the table

"Can we get out of the table mom?" I asked as my mom nodded and we all got out of the table

Me and Georges got to my room and I saw Aj and Virg get into his bedroom

Georges sat on my bed "damn I remember going here all the time when we were in middle school, I remember there used to be Pip's room" he said pointing to Aj's room

"Yeah Aj moved there when Philip got to college he said the room was bigger but we all knew it was because he didn't want to be in the same room as James" I said as Georges laughed "talking about Philip do you like ever miss your sister?"

"Yeah of course but now that she and Steph are dating I guess she doesn't have time to call anymore" he said "why?"

"Nothing just like it's strange to not have them here, it was already last year but now that it's becoming normal it's becoming way more strange at least for me" I said "I mean we were this group and all of sudden we spilt up and everyone goes to do their lives and you know it's strange"

"Yeah I understand it's super strange to not have them here" Georges said falling on the bed

"Yeah and it was stranger for you to not be here all of these years we missed you" I said

"Aww how cute"

"I'm serious" I said

"Me too it's cute" he said laughing as I laughed too

"It's good to have you back for real" I said as he got up from the bed and sat

"It's good to be back" he said as I smiled

"Now let's talk, do you have a crush on anyone?" I said as he groaned and fell to the bed again, I giggled

"C'mon, what's her name?" I asked

"I'm not going to tell you her name" he said as I smiled

"Oh so she exists?, good" I said giggling "C'mon at least tell me the initial of her name"

"Okay it starts with an A" he said as my face lit up

"That's a good initial" I said referring to my name as he laughed

"Well I told you now it's your turn" he said as I rose a brow

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Well you said that if I told you, you would tell me so who's the boy uh?"

"Okay first of all I never said that, second of all I don't have a crush on anyone"

"Ang come on I'm your best friend I know when you're lying

I looked at the window nervously, what was I supposed to tell him

"Well he's an amazing guy that's all I'm telling you" I said

"Ahh come on, that's nothing" he said laughing

"I'm not telling you more" I said laughing

When it was time for them to leave we hugged and said goodbye, he kissed me on the forehead and continued saying goodbye to everyone as I blushed

I lay down on my bed and thoughts were all over my head

Was it wrong that I liked him?, I had known him my whole life, he was basically part of my family

I sighed, I didn't why I felt this way about him about him but I just did and I couldn't stop it

I slept hoping one day that he would be by my side holding me on his arms
