hi, friends!

i hope this message is finding you healthy and safe. i don't want to talk about this COVID-19 pandemic very much because i know it's all anybody and everybody is talking about. i just want you to know that whatever you're feeling right now is OKAY and totally normal to feel. whether you're anxious, frustrated, angry, scared, or you're just straight chillin' - all that is valid. i myself am starting to struggle a bit. with my entire college course load online and my aversion to being in my house in the first place, this is all a bit hard for me! my anxiety's flaring up here and there, but the motto i'm keeping close to my heart during this time is: do your best, then adjust

something i've learned is that doing your best may mean something else on different days. and our best can always be adjusted so that we're constantly doing our best each time! so during this crazy time in history (we're living in history, y'all), be gentle with yourself and take it one day at a time. we'll all celebrate once this is over, but until then, stay home (if you can) and stay safe. big virtual hug to you and your loved ones.

anyway!

i saw this video from a youtuber called connor franta. he's a precious human being. but recently he put out this video called, "hey, good news!"

essentially, many youtubers just shared some good news they had that day. i thought it was a simple yet lovely way to uplift some spirits, on any day, no matter what's happening going on in the world.

if you please or wish, comment down below "hey, good news! ..." and something that just made you happy today, smile, or whatnot. i got actual good news today that i'm not quite sure if i can say yet, so i'll say something else...

hey, good news! i've found out that doing school/work outside is really freaking fun and awesome! :)

let me know your good news down below, and i'll see you down there!

love,

jess xx
